  1. So far Chris Getz is putting the "dead" into deadline
  2. Not even remotely close.
  3. Which puts him at about a $10 million player on the open market if you figure that salary times 3X to factor out over a full season.
  4. Probably enjoying the extra wins for their teams.
  5. I read that as the Sox price was really high, and the Twins price was really low. No big surprise there.
  6. That's one more than I have been to this year.
  7. It appears that because the Mets didn't even offer him a contract, he is a full pledged free agent with no restrictions or draft signing implications or caps.
  8. Or put him on the Dutch Schultz program where he starts one day a week or something
  9. I just hope he makes it through the next two months without his arm falling off.
  10. They would need to replace whoever is promoted.
  11. MLB, at least until after the World Series. After that, I can't imagine the Sox, nor Cleveland being willing to make a deal like that with each other. Past that, the Sox would need more guys that just Bazzana to make a deal in theory with anyone else.
  12. God I love vintage Soxtalk.
  13. It's going to be Montoyo
  14. Anything on Tommy Vail? I know he's old, but wow.
  15. Drunk Soxtalk is better than Pedro.
  16. Again, don't give me hope.
  17. It is nearly impossible to make a 100 loss team 20 games worse, but kudos to Getz for figuring out how.
