100%. We are probably going to be to the point where we aren't losing money this season, but with drops projected for 2024 and 2025, I don't see them spending again either without something big changing.

Not to mention how many pitching injuries we have, and NO ONE calls those guys out for it...

We should start to see some arrivals in 2024. Montgomery, barring an injury, is pretty close to a lock to make his debut this season. Ramos and Quero aren't too far away either. I would guess we see a couple of more of the starting pitchers out of Thorpe, Iriarte, and Eder. There is definitely room for a breakout to get here out of the block of AA starters as well. Obviously out of a group that big some will backtrack, but I feel like we start to see the first wave of kids start to replace some of the placeholders.

If he was a dud it's because his color guy is an arrogant jerk who should have retired decades ago and sucks as his job. He did the same crap to Hawk and is doing it again to the new guy. They all end up putting on more and more of a show to fill time because Steve is pissy, bored, or missing a nap. I used to think a lot of the problem was Hawks, but then the same stuff happened to Jason. It is already happening to this guy 3 games in. It's a pattern.

I can't help but notice who gets fed to the pseudo press as fragile and who else is just as fragile but never gets talked about in those same tones and definitely see a pattern to it. It's depressing.
