  1. I think I'd be happy if PK stayed at an average 1B's numbers this year.
  2. Is that negative 5.7% or dash 5.7%?
  3. Ugh. You do not want to lose this one.

  5. With the usual process of getting players to the US, he won't be able to be in a big league camp until 2011 if he is just now defecting. He still has to establish citizenship in central America somewhere before he can sign.
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 28, 2010 -> 04:41 PM) I'm starting to think he might find his way into the Sox budget. \Merkin just put a piece on Chisox.com about the potential to still add a DH.
  7. Yonkers
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 28, 2010 -> 08:00 PM) But a couple Senators had holds on his nomination. That's enough to stop the TSA from having a head. And a couple hundred other nominees. As I said before, they thought wiser of it when they tried to figure out who Obama could nominate instead of Bernanke.
  9. Nice to see Rose make it, but I was really hoping for Noah. He has been awesome this year.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 28, 2010 -> 03:53 PM) Wow, so things that banks like get to pass on 50 votes. Cloture vote was 73-23.
  11. There is no way the division is won with 82 games.
  12. Reconfirmed. Essentially the Repubs got together over the weekend and decided they would rather have BB in, versus whomever Obama would nominate.
  13. Senate has voted to end debate on re-nom of Bernanke.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 28, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) The Yankees floated Damon a 1 year, $6 million number with $3 million deferred after Damon seemingly called and begged for a job offer, and Damon's camp turned it down. Pure genius. Now he can go somewhere else and have his numbers suffer.
  15. Antietam
  16. I don't know that I have seen anyone that low on Hudson.
  17. Hazzard
  18. North Newton.
  19. Add another $75 billion to the price of the stimulus plan, as in its most obvious sign of failure to this point, the federal government is paying out way more than it expected in unemployment benefits. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/j..._cube_position1
  20. Something tells me the term "stiff shaft" would be involved.
  21. In a surprise to no one, Elizabeth Edwards is leaving John.
  22. Gotta fill the newscycle and blogs... It is a non-issue. Obama can say what he wants, and it wouldn't have been noticed if a camera wasn't in Alito's face and the lipreaders weren't pursing what he said.
  23. Kingsford Heights
  24. Riverdale.
  25. In the category of FWIW, the post game show hosts are not employees of the White Sox. They are employed by the stations they work at. In the case of Comcast, with the Sox ownership share, you could say they are Sox employees, but for guys like Wills/Rongey, they are employed by the radio station.
