I love the olympics. I really look forward to track and field, as a former 400 meter sprinter and hurdler. The opening ceremonies are also one of the most incredible sites to be seen in all of pro sports.

I am glad to see that it looks like the NL Central will be a race to the end now. Sabathia then Sheets is the best 1-2 in the NLC for sure, maybe all of the NL, if they can stay healthy. Even if Sheets goes down again, it still gives them a legitimate ace in the rotation.

Interesting note I saw on another site speculates that the deal was structured with the 100 million up front as to avoid the Obama tax increases. By taking the money today he would save $17 million in taxes as opposed to if Obama passes the tax increases he has proposed.
