  1. I expected CF to look better as well. I thought he was serviceable out there.
  2. The interesting thing is from Fangraphs, Pollock's LF numbers were almost exactly 0. No runs saved, no outs above average. Arm slightly positive, URZ slightly negative. His RF and CF? Awful. Thanks again Tony.
  3. I might be the only out there, but I hate the 83's. I love the late 80's, and obviously no one else in baseball has a better color scheme than 1990+. The connect jersies are the best in baseball.

It's funny, because if you use the standard that is always used for tax cuts, this is WAY more efficient. The spending rates of the people who still have student loans are WAY higher than where most of the tax cuts of recent years have gone. But of course that gets forgotten here.

The thing is we use these kind of things in the tax code literally every day. People get deductions and tax breaks for everything under the sun. This really isn't any different. But this isn't going to the 1% so now they are big mad.
  6. Not to reality.
  7. Honestly? That's exactly what you do. You hope he is back to the 2020-21 version for what you owe him. If he bounces back, great. If not, you release him in May or June and call up Perez. There is no risk here. It isn't about pretending, it is about a lack of options. With their limited funds, it isn't like they have a lot to spend here anyway.
  8. Honestly, it has probably already started in the back rooms.
  9. Was just going to say it is amazing how much different all of those Patriot guys look without Tom Brady.
  10. It's funny because when people call the Sox the worst run franchise in sports, the first team that always comes to mind is the Raiders. There really isn't any bigger dumpster fire in pro sports, though a few are in the discussion.
  11. Yeah, I don't know him or his work ethnic, nor his relationship with the former team leadership. But if he wants to get PAID, and not just paid, the generational wealth is in his next contract, not his current one. This is an opportunity for him to get his stuff together.
  12. yeah trying to reconstruct this deal from the Sox perspective you are probably talking about something like Reynaldo Lopez and Norge Vera, but lefty.
  13. Macko is a 21 year old lefty starter who is #8 in the M's system who averaged about 14 k/9 at A+
  14. Another thing I wonder about is with the Sox having two open roster spots right now, are they looking to claim some of these waiver guys.
  15. The way I look at it is that even if you move one of them, you still have the other two as your top lefties who fine for MLB pens as far as lefties go, and then Banks and Sousa would either be the last guy on the roster as a long man, or in AAA in case of injury.
