I will say one thing in Jaime's favor. He did everything the Sox have asked of him. He has played any role or position, and never complained about it.

Trading Davis also makes sense as the Sox brought 5 catchers into camp for a reason. With AJ looking like he is going to start 110-120 games this year, there is no reason to have this many catchers in camp otherwise.

Does anyone know if there is a place to get information on the B games? Is there a stat page or a box score spot for them?

A lot of interesting things here. I do really wish that Frank got to testify. I think he would have come off with PR coup sitting up there with all of the rest of the scumbags, liars, and evaders. With all of the bad press the big fella has had this would have been a nice reward for all of the years he stayed on the straight and narrow. I also wish they had granted immunity to the ballplayers, because I really would have liked to seen these guys come clean. It became worthless to have Mark McGwire there, because he couldn't answer anything without it possibly getting him in trouble. Baseball's leaders came off as complete assclowns. Bud Selig gave some of the most self-serving answers of all of them. He didn't want this issue in public just as much as anyone else. He could have made this a public issue, or at worst, he has the ability to enact these kind of rules for the good of the game, without subjecting them to collective bargining. If he really wanted something done, he could have done it. And as a former used car salesman, he knows all of the backdoors. And finally with the whole using steroids arguement that went on, the "if you never did it, you don't know it" arguement is a joke. With that logic Soxtalk has one member that I know of who is qualified to talk about major league baseball because he is playing it right now. None of the rest of us should be able to comment about it, because we have never played, or are playing.

Even if you average the people who have never posted, each member of Soxtalk has an average of 300 posts to their name. If you leave out the never-posters that goes to about 600 posts.. If that doesn't tell you how much some people have put into this site, I don't know what does. It takes a lot of time to put that much into a site. Granted a few of us skew those numbers upward, but you get the idea. The really amazing thing to me is how well rounded the site is. There are tons of different opinions, view points, and reasons for being here. What truely shocks me is how much nonbaseball talk that people have chosen to bring here. With the diverse interests this has really become a White Sox fans community, instead of a just another Sox message board. And even with this, the knowledge that has been brought here of the Sox is second to none. The people on this board know everything about this team starting from the day kids have been drafted, all of the way up to the office of the chairman, and beyond. In short, you guys are the greatest. As Soxtalk celebrates 2000 members and 600,000 posts, all of us celebrate the premier spot for White Sox fans of all sexes, ages, backrounds, knowledge levels, passion levels, and anything else on God's earth you can imagine. Pat yourselves on the back for this one guys. You make this place. Every single one of you.
