I would love to see the Sox get him, but if I am Anaheim, I ditch Eckstein or Kennedy and put Figgens in one of their spots instead. The guy is electric.

I'm not looking at Cliff to be the closer. For a seventh inning guy he is solid. He isn't making a lot of money in the first place.

That was probably one of the most exciting Sox games I have ever been to. That along with Harold Baines hitting a 3 run HR off of Dan Quisenberry in the bottom of the 9th to win it, and the Jose walk off against the Cubs last year would be my top 3.

I really believe with Takatsu and Marte at the end of the pen, added to the year of development for Cotts and Adkins, mixed in with Pollitte and a long man, that we would have a very good bullpen. The majority of teams would be jealous.

I don't know about pleased, but the kid has guts. He never quits battling. If he had Jon Garland's ability, he would be a #1 starter.

This team is finally learning that it can score runs without Maggs and Frank. When we get back Frank next year this offense will be fine. If you add Pedro to the mix, the most this team needs to win is better LH power balance in the starters.

Juan has 2 hits, a run scored, and a beautiful tag to cut down a runner at third, but no RBIs so far. Grilli has a 1-2-3 2nd inning 8-1 Sox after 2 innings of play.

ND is the team that made me into a Miami fan. They remind me so much of the Cubs where there is just this blind loyalty to the Irish. But to each his own.
