  7. No they ARE the options industry. They are basically the SEC of options. it is a not for profit funded by the fees from the industries trading. I don't know anything about working FOR them though, but I could try to find out. Remember the building the CBOE is in? They are on the 5th floor there...
  8. They do make it possible for a postion to be openned on one exchange and closed on another, preventing you from having to do the trades on one exchange only...

  15. More on this... Anyone remember the GM "Hot button" contest? GM gave away 1000 cars and it cost over $25 million to do. This cost Pontiac, just under $8 million and 276 cars, but does anyone doubt the publicity generated was exponentially greater?   16. The Konerko contract made sense when it was signed. After the contracts all starting coming down, then it looked a lot worse than it was.
