I worked on the floor of the CBOE at the time. I remember going upstairs to watch the news when the first plane hit the WTC. Then as a bunch of us were standing there, almost in slow motion we watched the 2nd plane hit. It was surreal. It still plays in my head more like a movie, than real life. Then they evacuated the building after calling off trading, and so there we are standing out on Financial Place, right in the shadow of the Sears Tower. It was eerie.

Out of curiousity is there a stat that exsists somewhere that tracks when a pitcher leaves runners on, how many of them are allowed to score after the fact? I know they do inherited runners for when pitchers come in, but I would be curious to see how many of Neal Cotts ER were from other pitchers giving up his earned runs????

It is amazing that is has been 3 years already. for all of the friends and family of people whose lives were affected by these event. Also for everyone who has gone out to fight for our country since then.

Despite what you guys think of each other... I thought that was an incredible game. The defenses on the field almost could be transported directly to the NFL and be OK. But Chris Rix needs to be taken out back and shot, there is no doubt he was the difference in the game. He couldn't manage to lead his team to one point without the help of this defense.

Carlos deservers to be playing everyday as well. now I have no problems with PK and Gload swapping between 1st and DH, and I definately don't want to see Ross in the OF Like I said before, get the kids out there. Play Valdez, Gload, Borchard, Harris, Burke, Baj, Munoz, Grilli, Diaz and company. These are valuable ABs/IPs that they might not have to waste later on developing these kids

That is one move I wouldn't make. Pauly has had an awesome year, and deservers a shot at the home run title. PK is having the best individual year of any player on this team, and after the 2003 he had, he is owed what he gets.

Hey best of wishes to you Knuckles. For me Soxtalk is a great place of escape, hopefully it is for you also.
