Hey guys great thread. I have really enjoyed reading from a guy in our system. Hey Jim thanks for giving a face to the often brutal critizisms that go on here. And to Neal Cotts, Brian West and all of the rest of your "illiterate" (that was hilarious) teammates join the crowd. We would LOVE to hear your stories and feelings as you go through the season. It would offer such an incredible insight that none of us will probably ever have. Thanks again!

I don't believe (and I could be wrong here) that Bullard is referring to the ACTUAL list of prospects, but some of the snide comments that people made about some of the players and rankings.

Great post. I am a big fan of a blend of watching the games and knowledge of stats. For people who critize other players they have never seen on the basis of their numbers this is a great post to read, repeatedly You go Jim!

Its crap because he is manipulating the system. He is appealing so that he can play this weekend, then after this weekend he drops the appeal and starts to serve his suspension. So he gets to be in the spot light on the national stage. And then after he manipulates the system he gets to play. It makes a mockery of it all. I say that if he appeals, he can't drop his appeal. That he has to serve his suspension whenever the disipline office hears his case.

Heck all he has to do is call Harold Baines and Ozzie Guillen for a couple of token interviews to beat that rule. The rule isn't THAT hard to follow. You have be completely ignoring the rules to get in trouble with this provision.

Superballs are so light that they don't make that much of a difference. I'm pretty sure the extra bounce they provide is worth the added pound a handful of superballs will give you. Have you tried it? Corking a bat only lightens it approx. one ounce. Adding superballs to an aluminum bat completely changes the weight distribution of the bat, negatively. Trust me. Yeah, I have a bat that's been superballed and I prefer it to the other bats the team had.... It's still very light but you can definitely tell that the superballs are in there when you hit. But I only used it in BP for the fans. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
