  1. Again, I have explained it twice. If you don't get it, that's cool too.
  2. Actually I was taking apart your allocation strawman.
  3. Again, you are missing the underlying reason why you think they are not allocated to your expectations. When your rotation is mostly young and cheap, you aren't going to have a heavy allocation there. When your line up is young and cheap at the typically most expensive to fill positions such as SS, 3B, CF, etc, again, you won't have a heavy allocation there either. That essentially leaves the pen to spend on. And they did. They also spent to see guys like Grandal and to extend Lynn.
  4. Wait if THE DODGERS were in on Harrison, that has to make it a good signing now, right?
  5. Dude got something like 5 million a year. That hasn't been big money in a long time.
  6. The Sox have the core of their line up filled with young cost controlled players. Where others would have expensive LF/SS/3B/SP/CF, the Sox have cheaper stars. This allowed the Sox to use that money to spend other places. He's quite literally discovered that the Sox did a successful rebuild and lockin of their young stars and is mad about it.
  7. 8 hours later: It was close, but didn't quite happen.
  8. I hate to say it, but ego has to take over at some point. JR brought back Tony because he was smarter than everyone else, so he personally looks like a moron if this squad flops again. He's in a spot where he has to do something.
  9. Pete just canceled the White Sox. Again. It's becoming a Parkman level run lately.
  10. 17 million total with a probable buyout isn't awful.
  11. I am pretty sure, he literally couldn't say that without it being considered tampering.
  12. Literally the only thing stopping him is his health. Granted that is important, but he doesn't suck.
  13. You always find a way to top yourself.
  14. Didn't everyone have to get vaxxed to get to camp.
  15. I almost wonder if Vax status played in here. It would really suck to lose the guy in a playoff series against the Jays.
  16. Well he pretty much got himself hired by the owner instead of the GM, so kinda.
  17. Yet will be the 1st to lose it when the pitching breaks down.
  18. Manea would be wild to bring home.
  19. The rest of the division is some where between mediocre and trash. If we have holes and gaps, the other teams have canyons and dumpster fires.
  20. Guys, we are going to need a lot of pitching. Not only do we have starters still ramping up and potentially getting hurt, I really feel like coming off of no team workouts after a full 21, and 1/3 of 20 could knock out conditioning on some starters as well.
