Have you paid attention to the radio and TV broadcasts of any other sports team? The sports world is filled with guys like Gordon Beckham in booths everywhere. I am curious why you think someone's ability to hit is directly related to their ability to call a game. And if that is the case, how does a guy like Jason Benetti call a game?

This is a terrible take. We have a lot of guys with nagging to minor injuries. That isn't playing scared, that is rewarding yourself for getting a 10 game lead. Its smart. There is no good reason to not take advantage of that.

I will say Manaea has just been mystifying. His stuff has been fooling our hitters the entire game, and they have taken a TON of clear strikes.
