  1. Rick out here cleaning up after the earlier comments.
  2. If you use guys like Adam Engel and Leury Garcia correctly, it can be done.
  3. Seeing Vaughn out there, I don't think this is a stretch.
  4. He wasn't with the team.
  5. And we didn't even get the overreaction thread this year. Growth is possible.
  6. Yes, he is sensitive. He blocks tons of people for disagreements.
  7. Lol, you have been all over these conversations LONG before you were mentioned, which is exactly why you got mentioned.
  8. Then why are you STILL commenting? You keep talking like this, yet are STILL responding to it.
  9. He's right though. its all stuff that has been previously said a million times, so while he might be frustrated with covering the same things over and over again, no one will blame him either. The whole "but you are a mod thing" is just a cop out.
  10. Vaughn back, TA and Nick hitting 1-2, and no Adam Eaton again. Lamb in RF.
  11. The funny part is until the last five days his OPS was .526, with a career .622 OPS. Did Tony not start coaching him until May 27th?
  12. Soxtalk sure thought so. Including 68% of the site picking them to win the Central, and over 60% of posters picking the Sox at 92 wins or more. About 75% at 89 wins or more
  13. Like I how he didn't mention that Tony has guys like Lance Lynn, Liam Hendriks and Michael Kopech.
  14. Let's be honest, there are enough TRULY BAD teams out there that as long as the White Sox can get fat on them, they should make the playoffs. I know we have had injuries, but the closest two ALC teams to us have also had some pretty major injuries and losses. I think we all knew coming into this season that this was the Sox division to lose, and we had more talent than the rest of the division. Now that the season has started, nothing has really changed there as all teams have taken a hit to their talent pool, it was just nice that the Sox were starting from ahead. But we all saw last year what can happen in the playoffs when the difference between the teams is much more even and little things make the difference.
  15. This right here. Leury is a great player to have off of your bench in 2021. In an era where teams carry a ton of pitching, having a guy who can stand in at 6 positions respectably is a big asset. He is just not a guy who want getting 500 ABs, but injuries to 3 of your top 4, and at times, 4 of your top 5 OFs will put your #5 guy into a starting role.
  16. All you have to is look at the order the were added to the active roster to know what the organization thinks of the players. Mendick will be the one to go once Engel is back, unless they move Eaton to the 10 day DL.
  17. TBH most of the true "hindsight" is the TLR Defense Fund coming in after the fact to somehow excuse his actions. If you are following a game thread these decisions are questioned in real time, and then discussed more in depth after the fact.
  18. But you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY care, which is why you feel the obsessive need to respond to every single one of them. Take your own advice and quit wasting your time. Honestly, it will make these discussions go away MUCH quicker if someone isn't trolling them with disproven claims and 3rd grade MS paint jobs.
  19. For the 672nd time, even Tony LaRussa said he MISSED, not ignored, the sign.
  20. Then quit responding to it and making it last longer.
  21. Yes you will. So no need to cry every single time it happens.
  22. So your gotcha is a picture that includes a 2-0 count, with a 3rd rate photoshop job. Boy if this isn't an accurate reflection of every single one of your posts, I don't know what is.
  23. You are wrong with your first sentence. This is happening in real time, as the decisions are happening, or typically even before they happen. You are also wrong in your last sentence. ALL sports teams have their coaches and managers challenged internally.
