  1. I'm only going to do a few... - CQ will have a better 2009 than 2008. - Owens will stay as our CF and lead-off man all season. - Fields will be a top 10 3B in the MLB by the end of the season.

  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 14, 2009 -> 11:02 PM) Indeed one of the worst dunk contests ever. So did Lebron say for sure that he would be in it next year? I completely disagree. Did you watch any of the dunk contest from the after Vince Carter era up to last yr? They were all pathetic. Dwight's dunk off the side of the backboard was awesome, as was Nate dunking OVER Dwight. And Rudy's behind the back (which TNT f***ed up on) was also very impressive.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 12, 2009 -> 12:42 AM) Smacks of Crispin Glover only, fake. Ya, because Glover's was so enticing and realistic? I'll say that this one looks/seems faker and more suspicious due to the rumors, people still aren't sure about Glover.

A lot of reports and interviews say that he is really trying to become a rapper and none of it is a fake. Other reports say it's some kind of movie prank a la Borat, like you mentioned. Who knows?
  7. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Feb 11, 2009 -> 11:02 AM) With jeans, zipper then button. With slacks, button then zipper. ^ Nail. Head.
  8. So apparently Rose was crying on the bench after getting hit in the face?
  9. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 06:30 PM) Doesn't have much to live up to. As long as he can be only a slightly below average major leaguer, he'll be an improvement. If he has half the success Griffey did, we'll be golden.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 10, 2009 -> 04:22 PM) Smuckers strawberry jam. I had PBJ for lunch today coincidentally. Extra Crunchy Skippy with Wonder Bread. ^^^^ You da man!
  11. Doesn't sound like much, but I'm down 4 pounds total. However, I'm seeing a lot of change in my body. I'm replacing a lot of that fat with some lean muscle and I'm feeling much better overall. Seemed a bit bummed out that even though I was looking better, the scale wasn't showing much. Nice to see a change for once. After some early exams and the Super Bowl challenge, I'm in for the long run now.
  12. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 01:58 AM) Yea that kid in the middle between Eva and Vida is the sexiest one on the sig. Quick question Slav, was it you that made my Cartman/Brian Anderson sig a year or two back or was that Knight? That was me. I still have it saved.
  13. Man, I sucked balls... And it's been like 4 years since the infamous...
  14. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Feb 8, 2009 -> 03:01 AM) Ive done it maybe 4 times in my life, and twice it was bong hits. So dont know where you make that sound like such a fact. I think overall, he's absolutely accurate. IMO it starts with joints, then pipes/pieces, then bongs, then the hardcore s*** like vaporizers.

Finally saw Bull Durham a few days ago. I liked it a lot. Also watched Wild Hogs, and was surprised at how funny it was. At first I thought it was going to be an awkward mix of actors, and it was for a while, but overall, not horrible.
  16. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Feb 7, 2009 -> 05:40 PM) He doesn't stay back nearly enough to handle a breaking ball. His head travels way too much. Watch the side angle. I think that's more of a product of knowing what is coming and cheating a little bit.
  17. I like his swing A LOT. He doesn't drop his hands much, which shows me that he should be able to catch up to the major league fastball. His bat speed wasn't magnificent, but it was BP. What stood out to me most was how well he stayed back on the ball and than attacked with his hands first to the ball. He's got a strong swing, no doubt about that. He stands a bit high in his stance, but I don't think it'll be a problem at all. It was nice to see him go the other way too, which a lot of guys don't do in BP. It also looks like he has good overall balance. I'm impressed. The guys is a mammoth.
  18. This is why I laughed when everyone said they couldn't wait for A-Rod to break the record as a clean player. No one is clean anymore.
  19. There will never be a more beautiful pair of shoes...
  20. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 02:26 PM) A young pitcher already showing a penchant for injuries for a stud slugger? No thanks Wow.

The Last King of Scotland was a crazy ass movie. I loved it. Whitaker was awesome in his role. Traitor wasn't bad. I'm a big Don Cheadle fan, but something was missing from this movie. Maybe because I just can't see him as an drama/action/thriller star, but nonetheless, an enjoyable movie. I need to see Hotel Rwanda.
  22. QUOTE (b-Rye @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 07:16 PM) i think ozzie wants to bring in abreu because they're good friends but they'd have to move dye/pk/thome/quentin... it will be pk or dye, hopefully pk/draft pics or cash for figgins 'or' starting pitcher.. it will make this team a playoff threat... You can't trade draft picks in the MLB.
  23. QUOTE (onedude @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 04:45 PM) I went there at about 8 am, and the KFC next to the Denny's had a full parking lot...and it's closed, with people still pulling in. I wonder what the wait time was on getting a table. The one by me was 3 hours.
  24. Zoom? WTF? You HAVE to vote Kalapse. I won last yr, that's fine with me. He's been snubbed a couple items.
