QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 02:37 PM) I'm wondering if this is the first Bulls game you've been able to watch this year. Noah is looking like he has pretty much all season. Awful. I'd say he's looked considerably worse today than in previous games. Not only have I watched every Bulls game besides SAT vs TOR, Noah is also on my fantasy team.

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 02:25 PM) Darko. Milicic. Best. Ever.

QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Jan 13, 2012 -> 10:51 PM) I just graduated with a BA degree in the human resources field. I also graduated with a 4.0 gpa. :-) Now I'm looking around for an entry-level job in the human resources field. The going has been tough, since I've been looking for a job since November. Any leads? Any tips or advice? Your GPA means pretty much nothing, fwiw.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 02:14 PM) Grizzlies feast at home. Not really a big deal that they're going to lose this game - especially without Rose. They have a much bigger long-term concern with Noah. I have faith that he'll be alright in the long run. If I'm Thibs, I may start Gibson or Omer at C the next game to get Noah's head straight. Maybe having him coming off the bench will re-energize him.

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 02:08 PM) 12-3 isn't bad all things considered but Lord the Bulls look awful. They're without Rose. And Memphis shot 69.2% from the field in the first half. It happens.
-
Noah doing his best to make me sound like an idiot. Memphis is playing out of their minds.
-
Speights/Gasol/Gay combined 11/13 from the field. Grizz shooting 70% from the field.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 01:30 PM) This seems like a game where Korver's going to have to go off for Bulls to win. I literally just tweeted that same thing. Bulls defense didn't play great in the first, but Memphis is also shooting well right now.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 01:28 PM) He looks slower on the court, as you see guys driving past him a lot more than in recent years. I don't find that to be true at all. Speights drives past him unexpectedly once and it gets overblown. Meh.
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 01:27 PM) Sounds like the Grizzlies are dunking all over the Bulls. Ya the Grizzlies apparently found a way to turn Mareese Speights into prime Karl Malone.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 01:21 PM) Noah is just terrible now. I have no idea what's happened to him. His numbers really aren't all that much different than last year's averages. His field goal percentage is down a bit, so he's averaging 4.6 points less but he's also playing 6 or 7 less minutes. His rebounding and block rates are pretty much the same. His defense is still above average, but not as good as it was last year. He's just not playing with any confidence or energy right now. I think people have overblown how "bad" he's been this year so far.

LOL. Boozer steal and fast break layup.

Official 2011-2012 NFL Thread

I actually really like Harbaugh and the 49ers. But their fans seems to make me not want to like them so much. -
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 15, 2012 -> 10:34 PM) Nice win for the Hawks tonight. Stalberg has been great this year. Complete 180 from last year, just a different player. And Shaw is becoming a fan favorite already. Love that kid's game. Stalberg's been great, but in spurts. He's light years better than he was last year, and obviously he's playing with a lot more confidence. Good W though. With Kruger back, and the emergence of Shaw/Hayes, I really think Bowman should consider getting a top dman as opposed to a 2nd line center. Still, with Sharpie hurt, it'd be nice to be able to get both. I'm not aware of what might be on the market on the blue line, but the potential of adding Getzlaf excites me. Like Pierre said yesterday, if you add a 2nd line center, you solidify that position top to bottom. Toews on the top line, Getzlaf on 2, Bolland on the checking line and Kruger on the 4th line. Then again, it won't matter if our defense continues to give up easy goals at the crease every single game. Leddy has just been awful. Seriously, we have Lepisto back there. Pair him with Hjalmarsson for a game or 2 to get Leddy's head on straight. Montador and O'Donnell has been a really, really solid 3rd pairing though lately.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 12, 2012 -> 11:18 PM) Shaw was just a 5th round pick in this years draft, amazing. He and Hayes have consistently been amongst our best players since they have been called up from Rockford. I just hope it continues. Seems like a lot of the young guys the Hawks added recently have struggled with inconsistency. Frolik, Stalberg, Leddy...
-
How about the lift Shaw and Hayes have given the Hawks? Incredible depth they have even in the system. There were some rumblings on twitter the other day that people think Keven Hayes is even better, and more ready now, than Jimmy is. And he plays center. I can't wait until Kruger comes back.

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 12, 2012 -> 01:52 AM) Thank you for leading me to rewatch this: EDIT: Oh hey, this was post 10,000. Cool. I need a life. Wow, never seen that before. I was there for Noah's interview at the Berto on the day of the Decision.
-
QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 11:18 PM) Right.. the Bulls are infallible (even during a 20-2 run) and Rose has never made a bad decision in his life. My deepest apologies. Better.
-
QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 11:11 PM) What part of that specifically is funny? The way you worded your case. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 11:11 PM) And you know at least two, if not three, of those teams will get in with sub-.500 records. I doubt it. Only the 8th seeded Pacers were sub-.500 and in the playoffs last year.
-
QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 11:05 PM) Rose was getting pissed off at Rubio during the game (specifically during that 20-2 run). Rubio forced a couple turnovers in a row and then proceeded to tear up the Bulls defense on the other end of the floor, which led to a terrible Rose three-point attempt IIRC. I wouldn't be surprised if it was "f*** you man" at all. This is funny, coming from you. EDIT: After watching the video, it looks like a "f*** you, man" since it came right after that long 3 that sealed the W.

What are your 3 fav sports teams?
SoxFan1 replied to SOXOBAMA's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
White Sox, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks, in no specific order. They're all right there for me. -
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 11:00 PM) I completely underestimated how bad the eastern conference is. It's borderline early 2000's bad. Besides the fact that 2 of the best 3 teams in the league are from the East. Whereas, the early 2000's had the Lakers, Kings, Spurs and Mavs.
-
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 10:37 PM) He has a ton to improve but he has all the physical tools, the guy should be a perennial allstar. I think he dougies more than he practices.
-
11 points and 8 assists on 4/13 shooting (2 were dunks) against the Bulls 3rd PG. And his team scored 64 total points.
-
QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Jan 11, 2012 -> 10:25 PM) Anyone remember seeing a Bulls player without the name on the back of his jersey? I believe Jordan had to do it once. Anyone see John Wall's lob attempt down 14 with under a minute to go. Nicely done, kid.
