  1. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 4, 2008 -> 10:22 PM) Sure. When you start seeing the jerseys in Wisconsin during Deer hunting season, the line is crossed. In all series-ness, this is about putting a different kind of jersey on the rack in the pro shop, and nothing else. Ding! So do proceeds of ticket sales or jersey sales go helping war wounded? Or VA services? Cause I'd be down with it then. If not, it'll just be annoying because I'll keep accidentally walking into camo jersey wearin fans on the concourse. Ya know, cause I can't see em.
  2. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 4, 2008 -> 04:15 PM) I agree. I'll predict that Gore endorses Obama, after Super Tuesday. Richardson will go whatever direction gets him the best gig, I think. Although, he may also be thinking of going for the soon-to-be-open US Senate seat in NM, so he may not care who wins. If that's the case, he'll just endorse the Dem nominee in June. I think you're right on with that one.
  3. As of last Thursday, down 7 pounds. 43 to go. Weight's dropping slowly, but body is slimming and workouts are significantly easier each time. Less emphasis on what I'm eating, more emphasis on what I'm doing.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 4, 2008 -> 03:29 PM) Another interesting thought for the day... With Obama and Clinton seemingly locked into a 50-50 battle with no end in sight, could the big cash advantage that both of them have over McCain be nullified by a protracted and expensive battle for the Democratic nomination? McCain has the potential with a big super Tuesday to all but bury Mitt Romney. He might not be able to clinch, but he could put a big enough lead up to make it futile for Mitt to keep up the expensive fight. If McCain can obtain early victory he can seemingly sit on the sidelines waiting for the bloodied and well spent Democratic opponent to emerge. Unless the fight looks more like what we saw in South Carolina and less what we've seen in the last ten days, I think this may actually be worse for McCain. A primary horse race that stays mostly positive merely makes both candidates look better and stronger every day for the general.
  5. Didn't Richardson endorse Hillary? You can throw NM into her column now.
  6. John McCain makes his best "Bob Dole" face.
  7. QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 3, 2008 -> 04:21 PM) Perfect weapon for a group that has smaller fast moving ships looking to make total destruction as quickly as possible, wouldn't you say? Would kinda be hard to have a go fast boat with an electrical power plant on it.
  8. Rumor is the strike ends this week, so more house might be back sooner than you realize. Good episode last night. I want Fox Reality Channel badly. Bravo has been boring lately, and there are too many re-runs on VH1.
  9. South America is all about cash. Dollars. So has Russia been. Although, the Dollar's dominance is starting to draw to a close and will soon be secondary to the Euro, IMHO.
  10. Superdelegates tend to side with momentum. Is it possible Clinton loses overall tomorrow slightly and maintains an edge with Supers? Possible, but not terribly likely.
  11. "John McCain is 'inspected' by a prospective voter."
  12. If this ends up tomorrow as close as it is. This goes to the convention.
  13. Either at the local bar. Or on my tv at home. Or I might just do laundry instead.
  14. But the Zogby methodology is generally flawed. However with Rasmussen polls showing similar moves, that's reason to be excited.
  15. QUOTE(shipps @ Feb 1, 2008 -> 02:55 PM) I wanted to not like them because of their snobby, prepy, hipster Cape Cod look but they are awesome.Really diggin the drumbs and the violin thats on a couple of songs.First album I would give four stars this year. Kind of decided I like them. And the CD is priced right too at 12 bux.
  16. I don't think we're stacked up to be a great team, but we've got the tools to be a few better than .500. And that can easily make us a contender. So probably.
  17. It is a Zogby poll though. I'd take that with a pound of salt.
  18. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 2, 2008 -> 10:56 AM) Don't be cruel Rex. Cool it now. You know Ron Paul is the "New Edition." Don't be a Jealous Girl, just show your Popcorn Love.
  19. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Feb 2, 2008 -> 02:12 AM) Hey man, I voted for Larouche the first time I could vote. Just because, you know, I could. Did you know he has his own political party in Germany? Neither do Germans. But they do. And they tried to convert me last time I was in Munich. True story. And when I was getting my drivers license renewed in New Jersey too.
  20. I need to get the album. Love Hey Punk and Mansard Roof. I've been streaming Indie 103.1 out of Santa Monica a ton, recently. Lot of new stuff I'm finding there.
  21. QUOTE(rowand's rowdies @ Feb 2, 2008 -> 12:09 AM) Fock you guys. Keep on living like sheep. "he has good ideas, but he stopped being relevant about 60 seconds after he opened his mouth." not to compare him to Jesus, but to a lesser degree there is a correlation. The guy's defense policy is this side of the John Birch Society, has a checkered history when it comes to racism and the bulk of his fiscal policy can be summed up by saying. "Eliminate the IRS. Stop printing so much money. Let's let other people make new currencies to compete with dollars." The only reason anyone notices him is because he's the only funded GOP candidate who argues against the Iraq war. Otherwise he'd be the Republican Kucinich minus the hot wife and the UFO sighting. Oh, and in general, his supporters tend to remind me of Larouchites. And that's a little freaky.
  22. And the bobbing of her adam's apple would help hypnotize the skeptics into at least zombie like silence? Perfect!
  23. Think about this. Your Yahoo! account now suddenly offers you the ability to use MS Word online. And since it interfaces with your MS Office so well, why bother using Google Docs?
  24. Given that so much of their network is based over internet technology, seems unlikely.
