Cool. But dumb question, how indicative is the Dow really? Or is it just kind of a worthless number reflecting 35 stocks that are always good investments because after they stop being so good, they get dumped?

Chances are the MLBPA will negotiate for a second day. That way people like Barry Bonds and Giambi and other tainted goods can testify on one day and the clean ones like Frank and the ones baseball wants to look clean like sosa will testify on the "Clean" day.

I don't think you would. I think having a not so competitive team who's all about getting it done would probably finish in the middle of the pack. So many of these people who rush aren't getting it. Travelling is about acting smarter, not faster.

If you're not lying under oath, why should it be a crime?

Eliminating street shots makes Wrigley less special. I've never been a fan of the place, but street shots are a pretty cool phenomenon. And last time I checked, we got Ivy at the Cell.

I always thought it would be great to have a couple that is more interested in the travelling than the competition... just doing enough to stay in - and see if they have a shot half way so that they can "take over." That'd be my strategy.

She was sent to jail for a questionable stock deal that made her 45,000 dollars. She was convicted on lesser charges related to a larger charge that didn't stick. It seems odd to me that someone could or should be convicted for charges directly related to charges that she has been cleared for.

For a minute I thought it was a euphemism for "something else."

He should send a "sample" to testify for him.

Not perjury either. Obstruction of Justice and Lying to government officials (That's a different crime than Perjury.)
