And this has to do with the White Sox how?
-
This could be good for us. It renews interest in baseball. Period. If the Sox PR department had a clue, the 2004 slogan oughta be. "This year, its our turn."

I would agree that the world is in some ways, not as well off as fifty years ago. In some ways, the world is more dangerous because of the proliferation of WMD... making MAD protocols less assured. However, life has become better thanks to liberals, I'd agree. After all if it weren't for liberals, there would be no social security, minimum wage, forty hour work week etc.

Quizno's with the guy breastfeeding from a wolf! Were you raised by wolves? Yes! Yes i was.

Did the dog get adopted?

Well, THEY will be going to a postseason.

Sounds like typical radio bulls***. I wouldn't have been pissed about it as long had I gotten sleep the night before. Stupid loud apartment building.

I believe that credit actually belongs to the National Enquirer for bringing the story up. This is just, how can I not have to make any comments against the pending litigation against me for 30 days?
-
For those of you who might have been paying attention to Limbaugh's show would know that he left it for 30 days to go into rehab, for the third time. http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/031010/laf041_1.html

It ain't a hits station sadly. What I would give to be playing Hey Ya, or I Like The Way You Move or even Black Eyed Peas. Damn.
-
It's been decided. I am now Hunter. I suggested Chavo Chorizo (Sausage Boy) but they said no. Believe it or not, today I was told my first name is "too gay." to use on the air. And its a station for women. *steams*

Ask him. I met a guy on the train to Copenhagen that has lived in Australia for all but the first year of his life. He teaches Architecture. He was invited to lecture at Cornell... but had to turn it down. Why? Cause he was born in Iran. Was adopted at age 1. Has to be fingerprinted and subject to questioning to enter the country, even though he's a citizen of one of our allys. Hmmm.
-
Yes it does, if only I didn't have to play it three times a day.

But he's right... sadly. The Cubs are drawing baseball's best ratings in YEARS. I don't know what the Cubs do PR wise to attract this national following (They had it since 84, that's Pre-Sosa) but they do. Maybe its Wrigley... maybe its Ferris Bueller's Day Off... Maybe its the 1980 decision of the Sox to go to SportsChannel and 32, and leave WGN-TV just before it launched a national cable presence. Who knows....

I was thinking the Old Country Buffet at 3:30 for dinner. Mmmmmmm.. OCB!! That place rocks! You down wit OCB? Yeah, you know me! There was this guy at work who was really big and tried to get me to go to OCB with him for lunch, because it was a buffet. That place was nasty. And nobody had teeth. Except for me... bought em myself!

I smoke because it makes me look cool. I do smoke, occasionally and for the taste. I average about one cigarette a day.

Disco Stu doesn't need to advertise!

Thank god they did that or Saddam Hussein would have destroyed Isreal, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia would be provinces of Iraq and we would be paying 10 bucks a gallon for regular unleaded. A little history lesson Nuke. The invasion of Kuwait was the only "invading" maneuver that Hussein actually made. His 1980 attack on Iran was of a "pre-emptive" nature because he viewed the state of Iran as a grave threat to Iraqi security. Sound familiar? He didn't want to control Iran, just create a buffer zone, not dissimilar to what Israel did in Lebanon slightly later in the decade. Also, although Kuwait controls a lot of oil reserves, the US does not buy oil from Kuwait. It did, however, have an interest in protecting Saudi Arabia. Whether Hussein had his eye on that state, I couldn't answer. And Israel would not have been destroyed by Iraq... at least not before Iraq was dust too. Most political scientists agree that Israel has a sizable and undeclared Nuclear, Biological and Chemical weapons capacity. Ain't noone with clean hands in that region. They all a bit touched in the head.

Yeah, I'm a DJ. I usually just use my first name. They don't want me to here. Apparently it doesn't "sound good" to them. I was thinking of making a WKRP in Cincinatti reference, but Moss Steiger probably wouldn't be acceptable either. Ah well...

My boss told me that I have to change my on-air name. So I need ideas, anybody got one?

Hmmm.... my favorite Reagan moment? The invasion of Grenada. We won one for the Gipper! My least favorite, reckless defense spending caused a zero sum game to be formed in the Federal Government. We need more bombs, so less money for education. I would argue that the best president in recent memory was Clinton. Most investigated, and it turns out, the least culpable.

Short answer Yes. Long answer: Most definitely.

You should check out the other movies that they made. A Mighty Wind is awesome, but more subtle. Just came out on DVD too.

*imitates Harry Carey* Cubs lose! Cubs lose!
