  1. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 20, 2010 -> 10:47 PM) I knew I was setting myself up for that by mentioning Yost's early success. It wasn't a shot at you, just my frustration over this team.
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 20, 2010 -> 10:44 PM) Who would you compare Peavy and his 5.7 ERA to right now? Not flaming, just asking. He's definitely getting hit. Who has Jake Peavy become? Once again, Sox play well enough to lose. We gots a last place team here, folks. KC is hot under Yost. What do you know, they fire their manager who isn't getting the job done, and they start winning. Just if our organization was awake...
  3. f*** this team! EVERYONE trying to hit a homer in the 9th. f***ing Konerko is back.
  4. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 20, 2010 -> 09:20 PM) Jones did this in Texas last year. Started out fine, then fizzled after a while. The minute they pick up on the fact that he is swinging from his heels, they let him chase s*** out of the zone. How can he fix that? Is this something Walker or him should pick up? Or is this how Jones has been his entire career? I really don't watch NL ball a lot.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 19, 2010 -> 09:40 AM) Wonder if Beckham will be out of the lineup again today. Ozzie said yesterday that Teahen would be replaced with Nix, and Beckham will be back in the lineup vs. the lefty.
  6. Enough of this f***ing losing bulls***. Enough of this tipping the cap to the opposing pitching crap. Go out there, pitch the ball, field the ball, and hit the mother f***ing ball. I’m tired of this good team, bad team routine they have been doing. Go out there and f***ing win, no excuses, just beat the living s*** out of the Royals!
  7. QUOTE (Real @ May 9, 2010 -> 09:47 AM) To follow up w/ the guy who posted Peavy's last 20.1 IP stats, look at his first 23.1 Like night and day Peavy's first 23.1 IP 30 H, 23 ER, 18 BB, 16K, 8.87 ERA, 2.05 WHIP, 0.88 K/BB Peavy's last 20.1 IP 9 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 23 K, 1.77 ERA, 0.59 WHIP, 7.66 K/BB Isn't it 3 ER in his last 20.1? 2 ER in 8 IP vs. the Blue Jays 0 ER in 7 IP vs. the Royals 1 ER in his last 5.1 IP vs the Rangers (He gave up 5 in the first, and then only 1 in his last 5.1 IP)
  8. It is going to be cold, so the Sox might score A run.
  9. How is Ozzie going to f*** this one up today? At least I will be at work so I don't have to see his smug ass today!
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 23, 2010 -> 07:10 AM) A lot of NL teams have really good lineups even with the pitcher. Ours is like, deadball era. You gotta love Ozzie ball!
  11. http://blogs.suntimes.com/whitesox/2010/04...ecision_in.html f*** you Ozzie, please just leave!
  12. At least now we get to see Beckham bunt again in the 11th!
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 18, 2010 -> 09:25 PM) Its a farce, disconnect from this thread. What do you mean by this?
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 17, 2009 -> 08:57 AM) Sounds like Joe is speaking from experience. Tell his mom that we all said hi!
  15. Sounds like Joe Cowley is jealous that people on this site have sources that are better than his. Here are his last few tweets: Sun-Times first reported the Sox were interested in Adrian Gonzalez back on Oct. 6, and was informed by the club couldn’t happen. Then some site called SoxNet.net – written in the basement of a trekkie turned blogger – jumps n the pile late with no sources. The sad part? Poor Gonzo is told by his dictator SE to give validity to a blog on their own website like it’s to be taken seriously.
