  1. Awesome, doesnt hurt anything. I like it!
  2. QUOTE(Damen @ May 1, 2006 -> 04:24 PM) 2006 is...that doesn't mean you jump right to stubhub for 2007. I'd be surprised if all those first time season ticket holders renew. Yea because why would they want to go see a team that won a world series, and has a great chance of doing something special again this year. Plus, if some dont renew, there is already a pretty good sized waiting list for next year, so season tickets are going to be hard, almost impossable to get next year, if you dont have them already.
  3. Well since season tickets are sold out and there is a waiting list, either you wait or get them from stubhub.
  4. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 1, 2006 -> 03:57 PM) Does anyone know, or is anyone willing to calculate, the White Sox record this season in each of their three different jerseys? We've been wearing the black alternate jersey almost exclusively, and I think it's got a damn good record. It's not that I think the uniform has any affect on the outcome of the game, but I thought it would be fun to keep track of for the rest of the year. They'll be debuting a throwback jersey on Sunday's later this year. (currently they're undefeated on Sunday, and I think they've won 8 or more in a row on that day) 10 in a row including playoffs to be exact
  5. This team won with pitching and defense last year. We all know that Uribe isnt doing well right now at the plate, but we can not afford to take his glove out of the lineup. As long as he doesnt take his at bats to the field he will be fine. Uribe has always been a very streaky hitter in his carrer, and I bet once he starts hitting well, the guy that made this tread will say he has been supporting Uribe all along.
  6. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 10:48 AM) I woke my Dad up because I started cheering. He woke up and was like "WHO HIT THE HOMERUN? Really?" lol I did the same exact thing also!
  7. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 10:38 AM) Watch the replay http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp?c_id=sea Uribe came a long way, he was holding the runner close to 2nd, and he just couldnt get there. The game is on the line you do whatever possable to stop that ball from going to the outfield. He ran all that way, and he just lets the ball go past him? I bet Cintron, or even Ozzie would have dove for that. If he would have slid or dove the ball would not have gone to the outfield, and who knows what would have happend after that, but you atleast have to show some effort. "Win or Die trying", Uribe didnt DIE trying tonight.
  8. Am I the only one that thinks Uribe could have stopped that ball from going into the outfield? I think he could have dove for it, and kept the runner at 3rd.
  9. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 02:07 PM) I might buy the Thome one, just cuz like you siad, it's Jim Thome, but that's it. Yea, I can see myself getting players here and there, but not the whole set. Maybe Buehrle, Jenks, and Iguchi
  10. I got the Buehrle one today, and they are nothing special... I wanted to buy one today for two reasons... Because it was Buehrle, and another was just too see if they were worth it. I really dont think they are worth the $80 (after you get the paper and the balls). Like someone said before, with that $80, and can get something better, or you can go to a few games. People should do what they want, but just FYI, there not worth the $80, and going to white hen everyday... just my 2 cents
  11. What is the 1st row in Section 111? I got tickets for row BB, is there a row AA in this section, or is BB the first row?
  12. Thanks Steff, I guess I will just have to leave for work a few mins early, and stop by the White Hen. Good thing there is one right by my work. Do you need the coupon everyday? Or does that depend on the White Hen you go to?
  13. Is there anyway you can buy them all at once, instead of having to go to white hen every single day for 3 weeks?
  14. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 08:54 AM) It really has not been that bad at all, so ya might as well take it. I think the entire construction is over-hyped. From Tinley we got to the game in 30 mins, and got home in 25 mins last monday night. It wasnt bad at all.
  15. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 12:11 PM) SoxPride56 overpays. I dont like change Steff! To be honest with you, I didnt have a calculator by me, so having a rounded number was easier to subtract it in my check register But anyway, Thanks again Steff for the tickets, everything went very smooth, sent me PM's when she sent the tickets, and when she got my check. Nothing but a pleasure to do business with. Thanks again Steff
  16. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 03:35 PM) Tying runner not at the plate. How does that work? I beleive it is when the tying run is in the hole.
  17. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 03:33 PM) A non-save situation. Zero confidence in Cliff. It is a save situation.
  18. QUOTE(ShoeLessRob @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 03:31 PM) Well i know I messed up with the 5th game thing, I caught that when I posted I know what you mean, just messing with you
  19. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 03:31 PM) Well if your going by the way the rotation is set then no it's javy but if you're just saying Garland is the 5th starter because you believe he's our 5th best starter then that's just an opinion. My opinion, and the truth.
  20. QUOTE(ShoeLessRob @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 03:28 PM) If he wasn't our 5th starter then how come he's pitched each 5th game ....??? I know he may not be a fifth starter(hell he could easily be 1 or 2) but he is OUR 5th starter. They all pitch every 5th game And btw, Garland is the 5th starter, not Javy.
  21. Give him what Paulie got, 5 years 60 Mil.
  22. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 11:37 PM) soxtalk needs to have a giant slip n slide party. No lie, that would be awesome. We should have it after the season, and invite Buehrle himself
