  1. Lance Lynn is not a top starter. He had a career year in 2019. Stop. Lynn is a 3-3.5 win pitcher.
  2. What sucks is that the Sox don't have the prospect depth to make any of these types of trades. They couldn't compete with these packages without giving up their top 5 guys. That's not even taking the money into account.
  3. This is without Eaton and Lynn. Giolito is projected for 5.6 and Keuchel for 3.5 WAR.
  4. Jerry doesn't like spending money on 16 year olds, remember? They'll continue to corner the market on 18-23 year old Cubans.
  5. This is a very risky deal for the Cubs but the upside is huge. The oldest prospect in the package is 20 years old.
  6. I'd rather b**** about the Sox being content with second place.
  7. If the Bears were 10 pt dogs I'd still bet on The Packers to cover, if I didn't hate gambling.
  8. Yeah, I think Yates end up with the Padres and Hendriks with the Dodgers.
  9. The Yankees are pretty good and the Rays always find a way.
  10. Another guy that the Sox were interested in but Jerry wouldn't let them take him. (The other is Kelenic)
  11. With the Dodgers involved and the Padres loading up I think Hendriks ends up in LA. I've already moved on from Hendriks and no longer think he's a realistic add for the Sox. New targets are Rosenthal and Bradley.
  12. That's already been answered, thanks. I forgot about that. How much do they have left after the Cespedes signing?
  13. I honestly don't know if Giolito is interested in an extension.
  14. Then....is it possible that he just wants to play and sign for whatever the Sox have left?
  15. Is it possible that the Sox are willing to go into the penalty box in order to get them both now? And if so, then.......could they possibly be in for Pino, Jorge or both?
  16. If the Cubs are taking Myers back, they kind of have to be getting one of Gore or Paddack.
