Cause for concern on offense?
He does. It's going to be interesting next year. Most of the time he makes contact it's hard.

2020 RF options
There aren't many options. I don't know if Nimmo is actually attainable for what the Sox have to offer. Beyond that the options are: Puig and Calhoun via FA and Mazara and Polanco via trade. Anyone else available wouldn't be better than these guys. There is really slim pickings at RF.

I wonder a bit about Moncada because he's sporting a .406 BABIP. I don't know what is actually luck and good with him because he smokes baseballs.

Cooper discouraged by social media negativity
They need to grow a pair and deal with it. They sound like whiny b****es when they complain about it. Nobody else complains about their fanbase being critical on social media.

Cooper discouraged by social media negativity
I, for one, am tired of the Sox blaming the fans for their organizational failures instead of holding their high-level baseball executives accountable. This is a big middle finger and FU to the fanbase. They do it because they know how sports fandom is and they can get away with it. I can't think of another sports organization that talks shit about its fanbase to the media on a regular basis like the Sox do.

Cubs thread 2k19
The Nationals have the Phillies and Indians, with one doubleheader vs. Philadelphia. They're(the Cubs) not dead yet. Especially if the Cardinals rest guys after they lock up the division.

They are, but they have waaay more talent than the Pirates.

I'd roll the dice on Polanco as well.

Cubs thread 2k19
The bad news(good for Cub fans) is that the Cubs are playing the Pirates next and that team is in disarray. That's likely an easy 3 wins there for the Cubs.

Yeah, really. What is Maddon supposed to do there? It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't thing.

9/22/2019 White Sox v. Tigers
I think Lopez is gone this winter. He's going to get traded for a LH hitting RF. I hope it's Nimmo rather than Mazara.

Usually rebuilds happen for 2 reasons: 1. A team is mediocre enough to just miss the playoffs om a regular basis. 2. A previous failed rebuild.

If you go on Twitter it's the same as the board. Sox fans are incredibly cynical. They're classically conditioned to expect the worst case scenario with everything.

2020 RF options
I think that they're going to trade for Mazara as well but I think they're going to trade one of Rutherford, Gonzalez, or Basabe and Fulmer for him.

I'm actually with you guys on this, but it's at least defensible from a pure baseball standpoint.

Royals, Cubs and Astros disagree with you. The Sox are about to disagree as well.

Collins sucks vs. LHP.

2020 RF options
If I were a Cub fan and they didn't have a firesale this winter I'd be livid. They have an aging, expensive team with zero payroll flexibility and topping out at 86 wins. It's fairly obvious what the correct course of action is. The reason why so many teams are tanking is because it works. That being said, the more teams tank the harder it is to actually get it to work.
