Dammit. That was an absolute hanger.

Leclerc sucks. I had him on 2/3 of my fantasy teams and I had to drop him.

Sox and Rangers Game #2
Yes, even though he's sitting 93-94 this year instead of 96-97 last year. He really must have an elite spin rate on his fastball. The Sox bullpen is the only reason they're even close to .500 Despite Herrera sucking for the month of May, the bullpen has been pretty good for the majority of the season.

Then the mental errors need to end. Someone tell him to put in some work this offseason.

This. He might not be a SS. That might be the actual hole, not RF. Timmy can play CF and Robert can play RF.

How in the hell could Vegas only have the O/U at 10.5? I guess they weren't expecting the Sox to score off of Lynn.

Why doesn't Lynn use his curveball more? Its pretty nasty.- Sox and Rangers Game #2
If they call fan interference it would be bullshit.- Sox and Rangers Game #2
@The Sir where you at???- Former Sox updates (Avi, etc)
I honestly don't know how they can exercise his option next year, especially if Eloy keeps raking. He's gonna get booed every time he takes the mound. If the Cubs fans want to blame anyone, blame St. Theo (the most overrated GM in baseball) rather than Q. I'm actually a little bummed that Q has done so poorly for the Cubs because the deal made too much sense when it went down, and I was arguing with Cub fans about it beforehand.- Former Sox updates (Avi, etc)
Q got absolutely lit up today. I still like him, but he's clearly not the same guy he was from 2012-17. It seems the Cubs traded for him and he has fallen off of a cliff. His last good season was 2017. He was still that guy in 2017 when the Sox traded him, but it seems like either the NL figured him out or he's lost it.- RF options are bleak...any other ideas?
Also not a bad idea.- Rangers and Sox Game Thread
With Vaughn and Collins in the fold, I'm ok with them moving Abreu if the value is there. I think it is ok to keep Colome.- Rangers and Sox Game Thread
If you mean in terms of the umps fucking him over, yes. Otherwise, GTFO- Rangers and Sox Game Thread

Dammit. Tie game.- Official NHL COVID season thread
Byram is Erik Johnson. Highly overrated. I think Broberg will probably end up being a better NHL D. I am a huge fan of the Dach selection.- Day of Reckoning is Coming NCAA...
I think there needs to be another option, especially for football players, than the NCAA. While the NFL has a point about physical maturity, people shouldn't be forced to go to school if they don't want to. Colleges are academic institutions first, and if I were a lawmaker, I'd end college sports as they exist now. Those scholarships need to go to academics, not athletics. If you want to play a sport, you have to go to the minor leagues to do it. Either go to college or see if you can cut it. No academic exceptions whatsoever, other than accommodations for exams. If you want to go to any school, if you don't meet the academic requirements that John or Jane Q. Non-Athlete has to, you can't get in. Simple as that. One of the things that pissed me off when I was in college was the sheer amount of help that athletes got just for being athletes. I have autism, and I didn't get half of the accommodations that athletes did.- 2019 MLB Draft and Signing Tracker
Trenkle is going to school. They might have a shot with Krogman- The Tampa Bay/Montreal Rays
If last weekend proved anything, it is that Sox fans are fickle and only support a winner. If you build it, they will come. I heard that somewhere before.- Strike zone yesterday.
This is accurate and bullshit simultaneously, if that's possible- Strike zone yesterday.
Umpiring is obsolete. Their job is obsolete. They can have a group of schmos in a war room in NYC make all of the calls in real time, with gameday and live video. MLB can tell the Umps to fuck off or they'll all lose their jobs. Either go along with this route and be the schmos, or we will find someone else to do it. I'm 100% a union guy, but times change and as long as they offer these guys the opportunity to run the war room I have no problems with it. If they want to have the guys travel still, they can have a booth at each ballpark. - Sox and Rangers Game #2
