I've been following the guy since 2006, he's got a 80-90% success rate on pitcher injuries. I don't understand why nobody takes him seriously.

There is a guy who's pretty good at predicting injuries out there, but the entire industry calls him a fraud, because he's telling them what they don't want to hear.

I wasn't trying to be a smartass or anything, I just have very little trust in the brass to evaluate talent properly. This whole draft is either Rutschman or idgaf for me. A whole lot of meh after Adley. They could take anyone mocked top 10 and I wouldn't complain if Adley is off the board. I'm expecting Rutschman and Witt to go 1-2, so any of Abrams, Bleday, Vaughn or Lodolo and I really couldn't care less. I'm not a huge fan of Vaughn but I'd understand why they picked him.

When do we start talking about how the Sox have been drafting top 12 every season since 2014 and have nothing to show for it? None of the players that are/were top prospects and have become major league pieces were acquired via trade. Meanwhile, every 1st and 2nd round pick has been a disappointment. The 1st and 2nd rounds are where the majority of major leaguers are found.

Greg, trying to win every year is exactly how you end up trading Tatis Jr. for Shields. A huge reason why the Sox are in this mess is that they tried to win too many seasons when they didn't have the horses.

Madrigal should be absolutely destroying A+ if he's as good as everyone says he is. He's hitting .250, which makes me question his prospect status already. Madrigal has to hit for a fairly high average in order to have any value whatsoever, and if he isn't hitting in A+, that should be a huge red flag.

I'd imagine they're going to give Fulmer one last shot. If(when) he sucks, they're probably going to DFA him.

Everyone knows that Tatis would've never made it past AA had he remained with the Sox.

After Robert, Eloy, Cease and Kopech graduate, they won't have anyone left. The horrible thing about this whole process that everyone they've drafted hasn't done jack squat.

It's all injured. Not much they can do a out that. If they sign pitchers other than bargain bin stop gaps, they're blocking the kids.

They're not pitching Banuelos and Covey because they want to. In a perfect world, Kopech and Rodon would be pitching in their spots. Injures have forced them into this situation.

That's not what I meant. I meant it is nearly impossible to evaluate if a player is ready or not. Pitchers will never look ready and hitting will look ready nearly immediately.

I know. There's a huge difference between AAA and MLB though. the hitting is incredibly inflated, and it is making AAA pitching look horrible and hitting look otherworldly. If they're going to do that, they might as well eliminate the AAA level as it serves no purpose for player development.

I didn't know how hard it has been to pitch in AAA this year. I thought the Charlotte rotation was just a bucket of suck outside of Cease. I'd take any stats from hitters in AAA this year with a massive grain of salt.
