Not sure if it's a plausible argument or not, but what if Abreu bounces back to MVPish form? What does getting Petricka and Putnam back while also possibly adding Burdi to the pen do for the struggles there? What does Rodon possibly taking a step forward do for the rotation? What does Frazier possibly improving in his 2nd year in the AL do? What about Anderson in his 2nd year? Is Collins really that advanced bat who can come up at some point next year and be the Sox Shwarber? What do they make of Fulmer? If they stand pat, they would still have Sale-Q-Shields-Rodon-Gonzalez so do they keep Carson in the pen or starting in the minors? I've been one who thinks managers don't matter, but what if I'm wrong and they do? I know that is a lot of what ifs, but I'm not sure its that crazy. I refuse to believe Abreu will be mediocre forever. If he's having a PK, randomly suck for a year then ball out the next, type year, that alone changes a lot of things.

Robertson should absolutely net you something fairly good. Outside of the 2 blowups (where he was on long rest and rusty) dude has a 1.71 ERA in 36 and 2/3. He obviously isn't getting you Moncada/Devers/Benintendi, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets you one of the next few guys on their top prospects.

Finn, Nakamura, Bailey, and Alphas had what looked to be a send off on a recent show. With tag teams counted as 1 pick I'm guessing that's 4 picks right there. I'm gonna take a stab at it and say Aries and Bliss.

FWIW, George Karl said Rondo worked really hard on his 3 point shot last year and it kinda showed. He wasn't great, but he was respectable from back there last year.

So what is "Hoiball?" For a week or so ive been hearing Fred wants to run a downhill, free flowing, aggressive offense. Then people make it seem like "Hoiball" is a heavy 3 point shooting team. Those seem like 2 different things. Which is it? Is the downhill thing I keep hearing new?

Niko's per 36 for points the last 2 years has been 19 and 17.....Is it totally ridiculous to think he can actually reach if he did indeed play starter minutes(which would have to coincide with better defense)? Post all star break he shot .445 both overall and from beyond the arc. If he can do that playing starting minutes, with improved defense, what will you then think of this team?

Really hope Niko can improve defensively. He can potentially be a real weapon if he can play 30+ minutes a night.

Listening to Mark Spears on the radio this morning he said Rondo has greatly matured. Again I'll bring up the whole Boogie Rondo thing where Boogie begged him to stay because he was a mentor to him. Also...Gonna be nice to have Wade and Rondo around to take Valentine and Grant "under their wings."

Calderon is still a competent backup PG, and with the money being thrown around, I think they can trade him. I didn't watch much basketball at all last year, but if the Bulls want a more free flowing offense, Taj, who has looked like a black hole when he gets the ball(from what I remember), might not be a great fit for the system.

Is Boogie a free agent next year? Just heard Mark Spears say he begged Rondo to stay this year.
