So, Final Fantasy VI came out for GBA. I'm not getting it because I don't have a DS or a GBA anymore. Never had a DS and I've given up video games, for the most part. Final Fantasy VI/III, however, was and is an amazing game and I think I might have to, ah, find another way to play it, but that's besides the point -- it's a great game, in a great series of games. I personally think FFVI is the best FF game. Great quotes, great lines, great scenes, great characters. It could be an amazing movie, a play or -- fittingly -- an opera, if someone would do it. But, what're your favorites? And how d'you feel about this game? (Have you played it before? On whichever platform.)

I think I'd prefer Broadway to Floyd.

There are some great Cactus Jack promos out there on YouTube. This is the best one, IMO. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DIQTBCTIlMc&...ted&search= I miss Paul Heyman's ECW. I miss Mick Foley. /curls up with Have a Nice Day

QUOTE(shoota @ Feb 9, 2007 -> 05:48 PM) Thanks for sharing that article. Seriously. Well, if you're seriously serious, it's no problem. It's really cool stuff, I think. I love Ernest Holmes.

QUOTE(klaus kinski @ Feb 9, 2007 -> 02:25 PM) Remember, this isnt the Cubs. The media will keep this in front of everyone until resolution With all due respect, are you kidding me? This has hardly been given any media attention. SoxMachine has made a point to point out how lacking the coverage has been. -

I love Letterman, but sometimes, his Top Tens are terrible. -
LMAO God, this night gets better and better.

Holy s***, man, I've read about six incredibly stupid things today and each of them keeps topping the other and after everyone I get to the point where I say, "How can it get dumber?" and it does. LMAO

Doesn't get much more obnoxious than that.

Bugliosi's Prosecution of Manson might've been the greatest prosecution in American history for the sheer challenge of it. Is this the interview some of you were talking about? I'm amazed that anybody can be under this spell. I know plenty of homeless people who talk just like him. Bah! The embed isn't working: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uhmtAmwnDQ

Helter Skelter is such a great book. I've loved Vincent Bugliosi ever since.

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 9, 2007 -> 04:44 PM) I saw a UFO up in rural Michigan two summers ago. I really don't like to tell the story in person, because, well, people think I'm nuts. Luckily I was with a family member at the time so atleast there is one person who believes me. Anyway, I guarantee you what I saw was not of this earth. And judging by the actions of others in that area, we were not the only people to see something that night. I'll go ahead and use the typical "I wasn't a believer until I saw one for myself" line. Can we get a little more detail? Sounds very interesting. You can PM me, if you'd prefer.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Feb 8, 2007 -> 01:03 PM) That's where all the cute teenagers went . . . I beg to differ. Thank you to all those who voted for me. -
Zito turned it around because of Ernest Holmes, not his curveball. http://www.mitchhorowitz.com/barry-zito.html Actually, that's pretty interesting, even if it does prompt a little sarcastic poke. Real good article, IMO.

I've bolded the things that were interesting to me. (I know it's about your fantasy team but there are real nifty things in it, too.)

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Feb 7, 2007 -> 09:31 PM) eh? The whole article appears to have been poorly translated and interpreted. Also: now he's accused of "provoking" the shooting, not actually shooting. Latin Justice! -

Soxtalk Community Prediction: Brian Anderson
Gregory Pratt replied to Heads22's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I just thought I was the only one who thought that BA would be miserable this year, too. Although I don't blame a lack of playing time -- I just don't think he's going to be anything special, or above average, with the bat, ever. -
Soxtalk Community Prediction: Brian Anderson

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Feb 7, 2007 -> 11:50 AM) I'd like to believe he's capable of reaching those statistics -- but I can't. Atleast this upcoming season. .235/.309/.380. I'm not upset with these predictions, either. If other positional players with more experience hit, at the least, around career averages (esp. Uribe), our already potent offense won't be effected. Even if one reasonably assumes Thome/Crede/Dye are due for a dropoff, I'd say Anderson/Uribe could compensate for a little bit of the regression. Toby Hall should make a hell of an addition as well. Why so low? -
http://redsox.bostonherald.com/redSox/view...amp;format=text It's a great look at Boras and baseball from the business point of view. I urge you all to read it.

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Feb 7, 2007 -> 03:39 PM) Gavin Floyd prediction: 13-11, 4.34 era I hope that's true. But maybe more than that, I hope that's tongue-in-cheek. I'd be amazed if he has an ERA under five.

Not this year -- he was eating green!
