I don’t think that’s a good measuring stick, how many times has Kopech? I agree Vaughn, Kopech, and + is an overpay, but if a trade is built around Kopech as the headliner you make the trade. I’d rather take the pitcher who has won a Cy Young rather than an unknown, personally. This 100%.

If we end up getting Lynn it would kinda infuriate me that we did not acquire him previously at the deadline last year to help stabilize our rotation for the playoffs (obviously I know the cost will be even less now).

Late to the party, super happy for him. Happy for him as a human being.

You would think it’s pretty cut and dry right? Slam dunk. Unfortunately that’s not how the legal system works. I don’t like talking shop, but Once again I’m referring to my own personal experience in regards to Cook County.

Like the other poster is saying, it’s all about $$$$. And I’m sure TLR has plenty to fight the case. It’ll drag on for awhile.
