  1. Alright, don't bench him, but Adam, do us a favor and just retire. Please. This is getting out of hand. Thanks.
  2. Alright, so, who's going to tie this one up in the bottom half?
  3. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 03:06 PM) Please f***ing retire. This. He has no reason to collect these paychecks.
  4. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 20, 2013 -> 03:01 PM) A Gillaspie walk-off would be pretty perfect, since he saved the game in the 8th. A Danks walkoff would be even better.
  5. Please bench Dunn. Need to cut down on the automatic outs.
  6. There's no way Beckham isn't labeled a bust when it's all said and done. So much potential, so little output.
  7. HOLD THE PRESSES! AFTER THREE GAMES, ADAM DUNN DOES NOT LEAD THE TEAM IN STRIKEOUTS!!! that honor goes to the Tank.
  8. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Apr 4, 2013 -> 10:24 AM) @MDGonzales Pre-game video looks like it's here to stay. ................................................................ we've become the laughing stock of the league just by one video.
  9. So.. are they going to play that awful video again?
  10. Good for him. Pitch your heart out kid.
  11. 5 years, (up to) $60 million. Sounds like a steal if the kid produces like he did last year. Hopefully he stays healthy and lives up to this deal.
  12. So someone on Reddit pointed this sad but funny anecdote: At Soxfest, an official MLB game ball cost about $13 at most stands. The poster found an official MLB game ball autographed by Brian Anderson for $8. Brian Anderson's autograph is worth -$5. Poor guy!
  13. If Ted Thompson has shown me anything, it's that letting your players develop and drafting smart is the best way to build a dynasty. Let's give Hahn some time and see what happens. He's not going to turn us around in one season.
  14. He should be, but my gut says he goes second ballot.
  15. Damn, this really bummed me out. I've always loved AJP. The guy did whatever it took to win, and I loved that about him. I'm going to miss him most come the Cubs series next year. He was so good at pissing off Cubs' fans.. always made me smile to see how riled up they got over him. That said, I hope this was an amicable split, and there are no hard feelings on either side. Good luck AJ, just take it easy on us next year
  16. Frank Thomas. I was always one of the bigger kids in little league, so I looked up to him. He was my sports Idol when I was a young ballplayer.
  17. With 17 points, Chris Sale finished in 5th place in the AL Cy Young award voting. he received 1 3rd place vote, 4 4th place votes, and 6 5th place votes. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/blog/eye-on-b...-cy-young-award While he didn't win it, it's still an amazing achievement from such a young player. I hope in the next 5-10 years, we get to see him finish up even higher and hopefully win a few awards himself! Thanks Sale, you were so much fun to watch this year! I'm so fortunate I got to see you against Kershaw in the LA game in May (even though we didn't win).
  18. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 2, 2012 -> 01:35 PM) They've pretty much taken the month of September off so what's one more game. ba dum CHI!
