  1. So a hitter hit the ball over an outfielder's head against Dallas but it didn't go out? You mean, when he complained about outfielder placement, he was wrong when he said that hitters always hit it either shallow to the outfield or out of the park? I really do not like that guy.
  2. And now, in the press conference, he just complained about outfield positioning on the Hamilton play. Ozzie called him out for it, as he should have. Goodness gracious, man, make pitches and STFU.
  3. My verdict on Keuchel, including calling out the team last year and then shitting the bed in the playoffs, is that he's all talk. Total blowhard.
  4. Should be an error on Rodon for standing between 3rd and home and touching the throw, which Grandal would've had. Not where he's supposed to be.
  5. A little tired of the Hendriks show. Just get the outs, man.
  6. Note to File: 2-pitch pitchers need elite location.
  7. Well, thanks. Long-time member, frequent lurker, recent occasional commenter again. Brantley always made a ton of sense, as a DH at least. Balance out the lineup from the left side, great veteran, wouldn't kill you if you had him play LF from time to time.
  8. One guy I'm totally glad the Sox didn't go after is Michael Brantley. Very important to sign Adam Eaton instead. After all, he was cheaper, on a one-year contract, and can play RF every day.
  9. From that list, Ian Kennedy is the guy who jumped out to me -- lots of Sox familiarity with him from his time in KC, low salary, and a history of dealing with the TX front office.
  10. Yes, but Jake has eliminated the leg-kick in favor of a toe-tap, and so is therefore highly great and stuff. Apparently.
  11. This is my (least) favorite part. Bummer in particular was a big 'ol shit-talker, and he's been notoriously unreliable.
  12. Anytime Hahn wants to get off his ass and bring in an outfielder, that would be swell.
  13. Someone tell Grandal that it's important sometimes to not try to frame a ball and instead just catch the damn thing.
  14. Flat-out sucks this year. He's having one of those "relievers sure are hard to figure" season. Cannot be counted on at this point.
  15. It's a side-effect of trying to frame everything -- backhanding everything to pull up, instead of getting down to block it.
