  1. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 03:03 PM) The context of this post seems odd. Something tells me that he didn't read the previous posts.

    Celebrity Crush

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 04:28 PM) Someone is overly sensitive. You crushed his dream! MONSTER!
  4. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 09:37 AM) She is #2 on my list behind Velvet Sky. First, thank you for that shot of Maryse. That was more than needed. Secondly, behind Velvet Sky? To each their own I suppose. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 02:46 PM) Don't think I ever heard he was sick or even had cancer. Glad he is not suffering anymore. I know he had more of career, but I will always remember him getting knocked out by Bart Gunn legit. I remember hearing Jim Cornette tell a story how the Gunn/Williams fight was set up for Williams to win & to be set up in a main card feud with Stone Cold. Gunn ends up winning, Vinny Mac has the bright idea to give the push to Gunn, and then Butterbean happened...
  5. QUOTE (The Beast @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 02:36 PM) Really? Did Tony Romo graduate? Hell no, he's a dumb ass. I'm not a big Dotel fan is all. I'd rather see Kelly Wunsch out there than Oh, Do Tell. Um, I'm pretty sure Romo graduated...so what's the point you're trying to make here?
  6. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 03:31 PM) This was hilarious to me for some reason. Octavio is actually one of my favorites. I'm saying. Just making sure I didn't miss something. D'Angelo Jimenez, Andy Gonzalez, Darin Erstad, Jerry Owens, Joe Borchard, Todd Ritchie, David Wells, Rick White, Billy Koch & Jose Paniagua

    Celebrity Crush

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:30 PM) Eva Mendez. Not sure why since I usually like blond or red hair, blue or green eyes and big boobs, and she has none of the above. She's very attractive IMO. If we're just talking celebrity crushes, Olivia Munn & Katy Perry are on the top of my list.
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 30, 2009 -> 01:09 PM) Really? You don't think the "did you lock a kid up in a closet as punishment for getting a concussion" question is going to be a drag on recruiting? If he didn't have all of this support then maybe.
  9. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 29, 2009 -> 03:43 PM) I hate casinos. Sounds like you lost some cash.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 29, 2009 -> 10:25 AM) This. Sucks. So I'm gonna go ahead & assume it was drugs or something. At least thats what natural causes means with younger well-known people these days.

    Films Thread

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 29, 2009 -> 01:26 PM) Can someone explain to me the appeal of James Cameron's last two movies? I mean not that Avatar was terrible but I just don't understand how Titanic and Avatar have been so captivating that they have set box office records. Sure Avatar has impressive visuals, but the movie itself was incredibly predictable and cliched and without the visuals is an average movie at best. Hype. There's your answer.
  12. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 29, 2009 -> 02:41 AM) Anyone watch Raw tonight? I didn't but reading the results, sounds like a set-up for Hart/HBK at WM? That would be about the most epic thing ever done. As big as a Bret Hart fan as I was back in his heyday...I don't wanna see him in the ring unless he's absolutely ready to go.
  13. QUOTE (The Beast @ Dec 29, 2009 -> 11:45 AM) Octavio Dotel. Really? Top 10 worst of the decade? Did he run over your cat & lie about it or something?
  14. A Bears victory that also helps the Cowboys. I'll take it.
  15. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 08:14 PM) They should have hired one of these coaches to begin with, VDN should never have been hired. His hiring alone should be justification for Paxon or Forman's firing. I mean my goodness... didn't VDN's hiring seem like a poor decision from the time it was made? From what I remember didn't Paxson tell Collins the job was his until Reinsdorf put the axe on it? Same with D'Antoni if I'm not mistaken. I think D'Antoni was more of the Bulls not wanting to pay him. I think if you're gonna give the great GM duo the blame, Reinsdorf has to take his share as well. It's obvious the Bulls are just his cash cow while the Sox are his baby.
  16. Bill Polian Called Out by Colts Fans on Radio Show
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 03:31 PM) Pryor has been playing on a torn PCL for a good chunk of the season, is that something that requires surgery? He should be able to just rehab it, unless it starts to damage the other ligaments.
  18. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 12:14 PM) He's my number one choice, too. I think he is perfect for the job. The one thing I would like to know is do players like playing for him, i.e. can he attract the big-time FAs this summer? I think he is itching to get out of the booth personally even though he is phenomenal at it, but he's a coach at heart like his dad and brother. Do we hear the same broadcast? That broadcasting team is all kinds of corny.
  19. Fight of the Year: Big Nog/Couture, I'd also give a nod to Sanchez/Guida or Torres/Mizugaki Fighter of the Year: Machida. Took out 2 big guns in the toughest division in maybe MMA as a whole (IMO) GSP & Aldo are also up there. Story of the Year: GreaseGate Event: UFC 100 MI Fight of the Year: Lesnar/Mir II or Penn/Sanchez or GSP/Alves
  20. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Dec 27, 2009 -> 07:48 PM) I hope the Colts lose their first playoff game. I can't believe the s*** they pulled today. Resting your starters doesn't work, in 05 and 07, they did the same thing, came out flat and lost their first playoff game. Keep the momentum and avoid rust. Even worse IMO is the fact that people are trying to justify it. I could see if they were up by 21 or something but how could you not wanna win that game? Especially since you're 14-0. Who cares that you've got the conference locked up, that doesn't mean you quit playing. Anywho, the Cowboys locked up the final NFC playoff spot tonight. I'm willing to say that this is the best defense in the NFC, if not the top dog...at least top 3. Romo/Austin/Witten did their thing per the usual. Next week is the NFC East title game. With a win & a Packers win, the Cowboys take the 3 spot. 2 Vikings losses will give the Cowboys the 2 spot (it probably won't happen, but I can dream can't I?) With that being said, Go Bears! *raises roof for a playoff berth & a shutout of the 'skins*
  21. The Giants are down 24 at the half. I'll take it. If this keeps up & the Cowboys win tonight, they're in.
