  2. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 21, 2010 -> 11:03 AM) Still racism. It may be coming from a desire to do something good, but that doesn't change what it is. As lf said, its sort of a whole different discussion of whether or not its worth it to do that at times. That's not racism. IMO, it would be racism if it were a school promoting "pro-black" ideas.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 11:30 PM) What I can't believe is that no one has said a name from Jersey Shore yet... I'd give J-Wow the business. Now, with that being said I wouldn't be caught holding hands with her in public.
  4. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 10:00 PM) It's odd to hear rain on my windows for some reason tonight. Maybe because it's January 20th?
  5. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 07:23 PM) I still think that if I could pull of Deng for Noc, I'd do it. Noc hustles, shoots the 3 better then Deng, and has better defense, which are what the Bulls need instead of Deng's game. And it clears up some money. I've also never really liked Deng, and love Noc. If you're my GM, I'm firing you.
  6. QUOTE (longshot7 @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 05:09 PM) I think you misunderstood that angle. It was to get over the Royal Rumble, not to split up DX. They're a huge cash cow for WWE right now. I dont see them "splitting" anytime soon. With that being said, I say they split by WM.
  7. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 11:40 AM) Just an expression . 'It ain't homo til one makes it homo' etc. Alot of people don't seem to take well with that expression tho Oh, I know. I should of said, not sure why people are still saying it. I guess it was more "popular" about 5 years ago. Me & a few friends use it as a joke nowadays. But to get back to the point of the thread. Props to J4L.
  8. I'd like it to be someone fresh to win the Rumble, but it's gonna be HHH. Something tells me he thinks that he's due for another title reign. I fully expect his new buddy Sheamus to hold onto the title until WM, where HHH wins it & we get the same ol s*** rehashed to us for the rest of the year.
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 19, 2010 -> 07:22 PM) I don't means to brager, but eye woul make agresssive yet passionat lov to myself here. an dont ass me what5 that whits spot iz on that first pic you perves. Actually the first pic reminds me of how someone's dad looks when their child brings home a bad report card. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jan 20, 2010 -> 09:36 AM) ? you do know you're allowed to say another guy looks good in a suit without qualifying it like that... correct? "no homo" is a term used by some younger people. Don't ask me why, can't tell ya.
  10. This are the EXACT things that I worry about when I go to NBA games, hell when I go to basketball games period.
  11. Classes Monday-Wednesday, I love the schedule. Topics:Organizational Behavior: Human Relations Workshop Managing Human Resources Talent Management E-Business I* Eastern Humanities
  12. Amazing Kong kicks Bubba The Love Sponge's ass for tweeting "f*** Haiti" earlier in the week. I say well deserved.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 18, 2010 -> 08:20 PM) Correct, being a cowboys fan you are giving credit to the other team instead of being critical of one of your favorite players. If you want to call that "knowing what you are talking about" by all means continue. And you're not giving Minny's D any credit. Their front 4 did what they were supposed to do. If you chase any NFL QB around enough, you're gonna cause a turnover.
  14. I swear I could do a better job than Hogan with this thing & I know virtually nothing about TNA.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 18, 2010 -> 03:00 PM) Ha, thats cause you are on the other end of the spectrum as a Romo lover. Go back and look at the 6 sacks he took, at least 3 were because of his happy feet, his reads and his reluctance to step up in the pocket. His fumbles were not all caused by the defense. The guy played a bad game in a big situation. Actually, being a Cowboys fan & having watched every game I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. When the O-Line has a bad game/faces a defense that gives them fits they don't score and Romo gets beat up. Against Denver he was sacked 5 times, offense only scores 10 points & loses. Against Green Bay, 5 sacks, 7 points, loss. The only fumble that wasn't caused by the defense was his 2nd fumble where he completely missed the snap.
  16. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 18, 2010 -> 12:10 PM) False, Iowa State is playing really competitve Bball in the nation's hardest conference. A player like Brackens is 100 times better than anyone in the MVC. I didn't know Iowa State moved to the Big East this year...
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 17, 2010 -> 05:12 PM) 66.1 QB rating. Do you call that playing good? I call it going up against a very good defense.
  18. The Cowboys just got beat up today, doesn't get anymore simple than that. Minny's front 4 just did work all day. To say Romo choked isn't fair, although there are enough Cowboys haters that'll tell you otherwise.
  19. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Jan 16, 2010 -> 04:15 PM) I hope they still have the feature in the new game where, no matter how bad you were kicking the computer's ass, they'd manage to fight their way back. It's frustrating moments like this that were so common in old SNES/NES games I think that was a staple in games made by Midway. I remember many an NFL Blitz game where I'd be up 28 & all of a sudden everything I throw is getting picked off.
  20. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 16, 2010 -> 01:10 PM) Time for Illinois to come out swinging and make a statement. Hopefully at worst they lose a tight, competitive game. I just don't see that happening, especially in East Lansing.

    Films Thread

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 15, 2010 -> 02:00 PM) I just saw the trailer for the upcoming videogame to film adaptation of Tekken. I will not stain this site with its embed code I've seen it as well. I don't think they'll ever learn that video games can't adapt into movies.
  22. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Jan 14, 2010 -> 09:29 PM) Today I was interested in the hype around Samoa Joe, so I watched some of his matches vs Kurt Angle from the past. The guy is a very technical big man. Does alot of things most people his size couldn't. I still have to watch him a few more, but I am starting to mark for him. If you're really interested in seeing Joe at his best, find some of his stuff from Ring of Honor. Especially during his title run.
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 14, 2010 -> 11:17 AM) Anyone else find it funny that her run-ins range from Shaq to Delonte West to J.J. Redick???? Star f***ers get who they can get. They're in it for the cash.
  24. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Jan 13, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) interesting, the first Vs. show has Bones Jones vs. Vera and Junior Dos Santos vs. Gabriel Gonzaga. Those are bigger fights than they put on Spike and with the Direct TV feud going on the ratings will most likely be lower. Josh Gross who's an SI journalist says he fully expects some kind of resolution to be solved by March. Hell, they would need to otherwise they're wasting this card IMO
  25. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jan 13, 2010 -> 02:34 PM) Russell Branyan is out there still. There's also serious concerns about his back as well.
