Yankees near deal for Javy Vazquez & Boone Logan
MHizzle85 replied to LittleHurt05's topic in The Diamond Club
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Dec 22, 2009 -> 10:56 AM) So, the Yankees get another great player for absolutely nothing again. Now, this is competitive balance. They traded for Javy, I don't see anything great here. -
I do a bunch of the already mentioned. -Money has to be in order in my wallet. -I always pat my pockets, especially at concerts. Also my wallet has to be in my back right, cell phone & chapstick in my front left & keys in my front right.

Come on, at least think about it

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 09:40 PM) I find it uncomfortable to watch Johnny Damon host RAW. I am embarrassed for him From what I watched, he was horrible on the mic. Hell, the whole show has been awful.

Official 2009-2010 NBA Thread
MHizzle85 replied to southsider2k5's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
The things I wanna say about the Bulls would probably get me a 3-day vacation from the board. I've thrown in my towel. This team f***ing sucks, point blank. Until VDN is fired AND moves are made to put this team in a better position.... I will not watch a game. I will not attend a game. Nothing. This team gets no support from me until changes are made. The extent of my Bulls following will be checking the box scores to see if Noah is still progressing & to see if Rose is doing any better. Until then, I suppose the Cowboys is where I put my energy...that or I just wait until Spring Training. -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 08:38 PM) VDN is no genius, the team is just out there playing instead of running his s*** plays... hence D-Rose looking like we all expected. That & the Kings give up an average of 105 points a game. They should be doing this against Sacramento. -
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 01:12 PM) Miley Cyrus - Party in the U.S.A Slayer - World Painted Blood Seeing these two together just made me laugh.

Okay, who still uses a word processor?

I've only heard of 3 people not ever liking "Children of Men" including myself. (Yes, the other 2 are iamshack & KyYle) Everyone I know raves about this film.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 20, 2009 -> 03:30 PM) My thought was of the Bulls, but they seem to have decided to play again for some strange reason. Losing is no longer in their vocabulary. I know that's extreme optimism but I'll take it.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 20, 2009 -> 12:49 PM) Does anyone else almost always wake up feeling guilty after a night of drinking? I don't know why, but I always feel like I did something wrong. Not at all.

Strikeforce can't run 20 shows next year, it just won't work for them. When you try & copy the UFC is usually when your company ends up like EliteXC or Affliction. All they need is to keep being the alternative & they'll be successful. Agreed w/ SF5604 on the BJ mopping up the SF 155 division. I think in 155, the UFC's talent is MUCH better.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Dec 19, 2009 -> 11:09 PM) StrikeForce might have just gave us the most entertaining card of the year. The WEC card wasn't too shabby either. Between those two cards, Cowboys/Saints & the Bulls, my remote was getting a workout. King Mo looked good, he'll have to beat at least a top 20 guy for me to jump on the bandwagon though. Souza made his name in the US tonight, you also have to wonder how much Lindland has left. Melendez/Thomson II was teh awesomezzz. I think you've gotta do a rubber match or hope that Aoki will come over & fight Melendez. Scott Smith pretty much screwed Strikeforce with the KO, it hurts Cung WAY more than it helps anyone. Horodecki made a mistake & paid for it. So now that we're done for MMA in 2009, shouldn't we be having the best of the year discussion? Just sayin....

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 19, 2009 -> 10:49 PM) Nick Folk will be released on Monday you'd hope. Just a terrible, terrible miss giving the Saints a chance to win. Romo played very well, Austin was good, Roy Williams needs to be better as always. Defensively we played well for the most part. Thought Jenkins had an excellent game, and Ware and Spencer were huge. Still got a chance to finish 11-5 and win the NFC East. When Folk missed that last FG, I nearly threw my remote at the TV. Either way, a much needed W & a huge one at that. I feel alot better about the Cowboys' playoff chances, but not 100% confident yet. *raises the roof for a rare December victory & giving the Saints their 1st loss*

Nevermind me, but what in the world are we talking about here?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 04:06 PM) CBS affiliate WBTV reports that the tapes, from Dec. 16, include two calls. The first is an unidentified woman calmly telling the operator that she is driving behind a yellow truck with "a black man on it with no shirt on, and he's got his arm in a cast and black pants on," she told a dispatcher. "He's beating on the back of this truck window... I don't know if he's trying to break in or something. It just looks crazy. It's a girl driving it." She then says that the truck turned off of the street she was driving on and that she did not follow it. Okay we get it, you're trying to justify why you don't care. How about you go make some other statements that you wouldn't outside of a message board.

RIP Chris Henry. Sucks to see a person go out so young, even worse to see someone's kids lose their father so young.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 16, 2009 -> 09:13 PM) I'll say it... that piece of sh*t gets what was coming to him. Classiest thing I've heard all year...

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 15, 2009 -> 10:45 AM) Do you have the DSL through the phone line or the wireless through U-Verse? We have the wireless through U-Verse so I'm assuming you guys may have the DSL. We had the DSL. So the U-Verse is a completely different deal altogether?

I know a few gingers, I suppose they're ok people.

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 08:38 PM) I've never had a problem with my AT&T Internet service. Even stay on when the power goes out. When I had it at my previous apartment, We had to have a serviceman come out 3 times in a 6 month period to fix whatever problem seemed to happen with the internet. I'm glad you've been luckier, but I wouldn't go back.
