Wow...Redmond just got laid out on a play at home. Don't wanna see him get hurt, but when you block teh plate, such things happen. Left the game looking all kinds of disoriented.

One of my biggest concerns abuot this bullpen coming into the season was Politte. So far, he has been alot more lights out than I thought. 10 K's and 1 BB in 5.2 IP is silly! Just thought maybe some of you would like to take a look at our pitching stats as a whole.

Trade value? Debatable maybe, but no question, Davis is an excellent "Oh s***!" policy. "Oh s***! AJ is hurt" well, good thing we have Davis down there ready.

Interesting stat I just found about Garland... Quick Splits: vs. Left: .088 vs. Right: .341 I found that quite interesting, as lefties can't touch Jon, righties are having all the success.

Exactly...kid is 25 years old and people looked for any reason to try and get rid of him in the past. Give him time, not every guy in the majors can come in and "get it" right away. Garland looks like the pitcher alot of us thought he could be so far, lets hope it continues.

Jonny G has always been one of my guys...now with that being said, so has Koch :banghead But cest la vie... Garland looks settled in the #5 spot, he has the demeanor of a MLB starting pitcher and actually is pitching like one consistently so far.

nice read there...wish i was watching the game to see Crede give Mauer a shot. Regardless, we are now 8-3 against our own division. Thats big time. Lets keep rollin' fellas..

Oh I'm definately not one that is saying "Make Hermanson our closer!" at all. Shinjo is still my closer on this team. But I think he should be given a bit shorter leash at the moment, till its evident that he is using the pitches at his command to get guys out. A la quit throwing that GD 85 mph fastball, it isnt gonna fool anyone without them seeing teh frisbee mixed in there. Shinjo is still my man.
