For those of you familiar with the phrase, this is just the S.S.D.D for the Sox. We should be all used to it, but yet we always hold that shimmer of hope that THIS year will be the year JR says "Screw it" and goes for it. Sadly, that moment hasn't happened for us long suffering Sox fans.

Robin would be a valuable guy IF we could find a way to move Konerko. Face it, someone HAS to go. As for 2B and CF, I still don't see how you can't let AaRow get his shots to be the everyday CFer, and let second got to Willie/Miles/Robbie or whoever you want to give the shot to in ST.

Met Hawk at Picnic in the Park in 2000, Talked to him for about 15 minutes, great guy, and great ambassador for the Sox. When I told him I was from South Carolina, he talked about his minor league days in this area, and being from Woodruff, Sout Carolina. I can hear the Hawkisms over and over, and they don't bother me at all. Hell, he helped convert my best friend to a Sox fan. Haw and Wimpy, yeah they prolly were the best duo for the Sox, but DJ ain't too bad, and he's improving IMO. Yeah, I don't see how ANYONE can be in favor of giving Koch to NY for Roger FREAKIN Cedeno!!! I'm sorry, but this trade makes EVEN LESS sense than the $5 mill option for JosE6. Yeah, Koch had a bad year, and we signed him to a 2 year contract before we saw him collapse. But that makes you want to trade him for an EXTREMELY overrated, aextremely overpaid OFer in Cedeno that we don't even have room for? WTF Kenny, get your s*** together. If they do this, then its almost guaranteed that Gordon will be brought back, wasting another $5 mill. Jeezus, I'm completely lost right now in terms of what the hell KW is trying to do, and methinks he is confused also.

Are the Cowboys playin' a bit over their heads? Yes, of course they are. But regardless of that fact, the Cowboys Defense is quite possibly the best in the NFL. Not sure you can call that overrated. Don't think Defense can win NFL games? Ask Baltimore about that. True, the "Boys offense is nothing to be ecstatic about, but they have weapons at WR, hard for any othe Defense to cover Antonio Bryant, Joey Galloway, Terry Glenn, and 2 big ass catching TE like Whitten and Campbell.

No, no, slick, I've been fighting the kill Billy Koch army since April of this year. I think that if he doesnt pick up a baseball until Spring Training, we may find ourselves with the Koch that we traded for.

I can just see KW giving him away now to the NYM, and him having a great year. I think that Konerko is a more viable option to clear payroll money than Koch is.

Yeah, if I ever see Everett in CF, it will be too soon. KochThis and myself said the exact same thing when I was in Chicago in July. This guy has NO idea how to play CF, cant hit the right cutoff, his positioning is awful, and his arm isn't exactly Vlad-like.

Yeah, control definately wasnt the issue, unfortunately too many times he knew how to throw it right where he wanted to. But when you do so at only 93 MPH, in Alan Embree-straight like fashon, you are gnona get pounded. I was one of the few people that was on Koch's side all year, and I think that as long as he doesnt pick up a baseball until February, he will be back. I see a 3.40 ERA, 35 Saves.
