TBH here, the pitching matchups are not in our favor at all...my heart says I'll be happy with a 2-1 series win here, but my head says to expect a 1-2 series loss.

early on it was pretty evident that FG didnt have the best accuracy on his fastball. Yet he worked through it, got out of a couple jams, and put us in a position to win, which is all we can ask for when the bats arent working early on in a game.

Agreed. Again, it isnt the Offense i have my early season concerns about. Its the right arms of Jose Contreras and El Duque that worry me the most.

tbh, I must say Millwood has never really impressed me much, and thats when he was an NL only pitcher...I don't see him having an ERA under 4.50-5.00 this year in the AL.

Oh I dont think Koch was a user at all...I just think moreso that 10 years of throwing 97+ fastballs (counting college), and pitching so many innings over the years, his arm just didn't have it anymore. I didn't think it would be such a drastic change in such a short time, but I also tend to try and forget about the Koch days here in Chicago... DAMN you, quit trying to remind me about him
