  1. Huh?? Garland has had 6 quality starts in a row, more than anyone else in this rotation...I have no problems with him being on the bump tomorrow.
  2. Juggernaut, its not 575 ABs supposedly, its 575 plate appearances, and unfortunately he will make that i believe. He's at 531 plate appearances, right now total. And theres what, 13 games left. We are stuck with JosE6 next year I'm afraid.
  3. Hey....at least we can still make a few bucks off of baseball...thank you Cubs and Mets, for playing such a low scoring affair!!!
  4. You got it....like i've said all year, once this team gets behind by 3 or more runs, it turns into a Home Run Derby contest for everyone in the lineup. Very irritating for us fans, knowing that everyone is going up there and popping everything up, trying to hit a ball 400 feet.
  5. Excellent job Kelly...no need in thinking we have a shot, go ahead and give that run back to Minny
  6. Capn12

    LMAO

Sad thing is, he'll hit his contract clause concerning plate appearances, and we'll be stuck with him next year too... :puke :puke
  7. wheres the picture of the McFlurry? we need it now more than ever!!!
  8. Schoene is out there right now auditioning for that #5 starter role next year....and doing a damn fine job so far too
  9. One guys still trying..CLee running hard the whole way...and scores
  10. BMR, judging by your posts, we are fighting the same side here....I'm saying it is the players...not sure, maybe we are just used to arguing against each other.
  11. I've only seen bigger load of crap than that in my toilet....boo hoo, the team isn't motivated...boo hoo, they have no heart. You think these guys have to be f***ing told by their manager how much this series means? They aren't a bunch of deaf-mutes for Christs Sake!! As far as I know, they can ll read the paper, they know what the standings look like. Why does everyone lay it at the managers feet every time things go wrong? Poor execution with runners on, was JM supposed to go hold Franks hand in the first inning so he'd know his manager was supporting him? At what point do some of you realize that the manager, yes he has f***ed up alot this year, and shoulda already been fired, but every little thing that goes wrong, from wild pitches to HRs given up to GIDPs, can't be laid at the managers feet. Lets hold some of the players who are the ones PLAYING the game responsible for their actions, because they didn't EXECUTE, not because they weren't Motivated...f*** that, the whole team is motivated, they know whats on the line here.
  12. It doesnt help that we have a Little League hitter playing catcher tonight...but then again, no one else besides Robbie is hitting....
  13. At what point do we as Sox fans quit using "no heart" as an excuse for poor play, and start actually seeing that its the lack of simple execution, plain and simple, that the Sox are suffering from.
  14. Which further begs the question...if thats so, and Garland and Loz were switched so Loz could pitch first...couldn't JM have just switched them back? Or was Loz forced into pitching when he wasnt up to par?
  15. God I hate seeing Schoeneweis come into any game these days....CLee with a catch on a smoked ball.....both pitches from Schoene have been smacked
  16. C'mon SS2K3, you know that every bad thing that happens to this team is always JM's fault. At least, thats the story from alot of people on this board.
  17. And now in 2 of the first 3 innings, we've wasted opportunities....same story, different day.
  18. ground ball after ground ball...c'mon guys, get a lil lift on it..
  19. Uh, that may be taking it a bit far. Not always what have you done for me lately...although he does look like s*** tonight. I'm not writing him off for good because of this game, come on now.
  20. We'll be damn lucky to get 5 innings out of Loz tonight.
  21. This is about as bad as I have seen a pitcher throw in such a big game for us.
  22. 107 K's in 133 games, not counting his K and this game....thats BAD for a shortstop.
  23. Jose Hernandez Jr K's......something not entirely new to him....3 up, 3 down
  24. He was throwing lots of cutters, all diving down and in...kept throwing and missing with it.
  25. Thats pretty f***ing harsh, dude...meanwhile, a 31 pitch inning...we're gonna see the pen tonight!!
