This season is going to be a real test for Grifol. He doesn't have the added benefit of playing 19 against Detroit and Kansas City, like in the past. It could legitimately be a 70-92 season.

OK, game 16, and I'm definitely already tired of hearing Jason call him "Robert Jr". I get it, that doesn't mean you have to say it EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm a Jr myself, and no one uses it, in conversation.

Eloy is a pile of bad right now, 1-11 with 5 K's since coming back. Of course.

How does Eloy miss a pitch that bad?

So Cease will be done after 5, with 90 pitches, and we get to watch this amazing bullpen try to keep a 1 run lead for 4 innings. What, me worry?

This one is trending the wrong direction, thanks to some bad defense on the left side of the field.

I did say we needed an Alberto phantom injury, so...I'll take it!

Yep, he'll be here to play in place of Yoan at 3B, Eloy at DH, or AV at 1B when he needs a break. ABs will exist for Burger, but it will have to mean the end of Alberto on the roster, if we're being honest with ourselves. I'm fine with that.
