July 17, 20241 yr This signing is perfectly fine. Warm body who was once a promising prospect for a team that is going to be moving a bunch of guys up til the deadline. Industry ranking be damned. Let him simmer in AAA. He just got there.

Ramos had to come up as they had no one else who wasn't injured that could play 3B. Age isn't a determinant of readiness unless you truly don't care about a prospect. Which they may not and could bring them up regardless.
