I went to a White Sox/Rays twi-night DH many years ago. When we got there in the top of the first, one step into the concourse we could hear McKay Christensen calling for a ball in CF. There couldn't have been 100 fans in the stands at that point.

So those milestone HR paydays ARod is supposed to receive would actually cost the Yankees an additional 50% as they are over the luxury tax.

Sometimes there is nothing you can do, but there certainly has been options here, and so far the option they have used has been to basically do nothing.

We already know, if they plan on playing in Baltimore tomorrow, they cannot start it at it's scheduled time. I really don't know how you can stay in Baltimore at this point. What is there that suggests even slightly that the situation will be much safer tomorrow? And if they don't want to go back to Chicago or take a bus to DC, then cancel the damn game tomorrow now. Maybe JR was on to something when he opposed this commissioner.
