I'm not. But if your data is accurate, 80% of the hospitalized are overweight. But 70% of the people at the grocery store you walk into are overweight. So as much as you want to make being overweight the #1 factor, it really doesn't tell you that much. The talking point is it doesn't affect kids. There are 7 kids in Mississippi in intensive care.

BTW, almost 70% of all American adults are overweight.

I knew 3 people who died of Covid. Not one was overweight. Although I do have some sort of issue with the vaccines. My wife still is struggling, 3 months after getting her first shot. No one knows what to do. They keep passing her along, and have her take more tests. So they either have no clue how to fight a probable bad vax reaction or are too afraid to report it.

But that is what they are supposed to do, and are doing it with a very depleted roster. He is full of shit.

As for the White Sox, many are picking them to still win the division, even without Eloy Jimenez, and I still like the top of the lineup, the top three in the rotation, the bullpen depth and believe the AL East beats up on each other, allowing the two wild cards to come from the softer West and Central divisions. -- David Schoenfield

I'll be really happy if they win the division. A 2b makes sense and a releiver or 2. If Eloy and Robert come back, Goodwin and Engel isn't a bad platoon in RF. Other than that, their line up is fine.

The White Sox have a medical staff that has cleared Eloy for this activity. I don't think they would take a big risk with a cornerstone of their foundation.

The Sox top 4 OF coming into spring training, all spent some significant time on the IL. Mocada has been banged up. Abreu has been banged up. TA hasn't hit many homers, he had leg issues. Grandal has been banged up. Vaughn had growing pains. He seems to be finding himself. I am all for getting a guy who hits homers to play 2B, but if their roster is relatively healthy by the playoffs, power is not going to be an issue.

He's a 5 WAR player playing like this. Chris Sale is recovering from TJ surgery, and wouldn't have led the White Sox to 70 wins while he was here. He and Kopech are about as good of a return as anyone can realistically hope.

Get Eloy and Robert and Grandal back, and neither will the power outage.

Moncada and his current 5 fWAR pace is certainly one of the biggest problems and needs to be straightened out immediately.

I agree. If the White Sox can get anywhere near a full roster and an addition or two, they are as stacked as anyone, and they seem to have the winning horseshoe working this year.
