  1. If you want to get banned, at least have some fun and do something to deserve it.
  2. He's a clever little guy. He's got basically a half a MLB season now under his belt, and he has already done some things the naysayers said will never happen. He is starting to hit the ball a bit harder and sooner, and pulling it a little more. His defense hasn't been the GG quality that was advertised, but give it some time. He is a nice change of pace in the line up. He has a higher slugging percentage than Soxtalk favorite target Joey Gallo.
  3. Stone is a good analyst but full of himself. He is a 17.0 career WAR pitcher, most of the time being slightly above replacement level. I will never forget a Soxfest when he refused to sign a ball on the sweet spot because he thought the fan would try to sell it for big bucks, Someone should tell him a new ball costs$10. A ball signed by him eventually makes it to the $5 bin at Soxfest.
  4. Brian Kenny who views baseball about as differently as possible as Hawk Harrelson does, just paid homage to the Hawk on MLBN. They had a live look in at the Cin/STL game, when they made the final out, he gave a Hawk like, this game is OVA!
  5. Probably the drop in spin rate.
  6. He went out of his way to say he has nothing on his hat the other day. I really think he is pitching straight up. I do think there are several White Sox using some pine tar, and I think Mr. Sportsmanship knows all about it, I wonder if he will eventually turn them in,
  7. The pitcher they were facing had yet to retire a White Sox in 2 appearances. Dumb move. If Danny Mendick can't hit Derek Holland, he needs to start selling cars.
  8. Hopefully under the guise of sportsmanship brother, Tony doesn’t leave a guy in to bat today with a strained oblique. Yet another precious out he gave away yesterday.
  9. Tony got a little pissed when asked about the bunt. Says it was the right play. Tony a bit ornery being questioned.
  10. Then why do they call it a sacrifice,?
  11. 93 today. Perfect for all black uniforms.
  12. Tony also is 2nd in losses.
  13. Boras has a rep for keeping his clients in shape. I like Rodon, but I think what he is going to want if he somehow keeps this up, isn't a good idea for the team.
  14. He said he has nothing on his hat. He did say he goes to his hat a lot, Giolito looks like he has something on the bill of his hat. Clearly the White Sox have guys doing it, or they would be running out to the umpires complaining the opposition is being blatant.
  15. The Cleveland pitcher clearly had some stuff in his glove, but the Sox aren't going to call it out because they have guys who do the same thing.
  16. Wait a few days. 100% capacity is supposedly coming.
  17. He could have just been around someone who has it.
  18. I agree. Especially while Lamb and Hamilton are hitting decently.
  19. I wonder if the Sox permanently did away with the Picnic Area. It is now covered with padding, and they make no mention of it in the group literature they send out.
  20. Steve Stone is never wrong. Just ask him.
  21. Adam Engel, savior. If he struggles, I wonder how long a leash he has on Soxtalk before DFA talk commences.
  22. It boggles my mind the Sox get this player who is thought of as nothing but a great teammate and person. Who actually plays baseball well enough he won an MVP award. And there are Sox fans that still seem to live to whine about him.
  23. Not to mention a completely different version of Rodon and Cease.
