I think the White Flag Trade was significant volume. JR told us all he was right everyone else was wrong when the Sox clinched the division in 2000. I think back when he first started with the Sox, the fans being upset the Sox went on Pay TV and Harry and Jimmy were gone was big volume. When the Sox clinched the division in 1983 JR was in the clubhouse taking about Harry and Jimmy being scum. This is his hire. If anything, he's more dug in by the reaction, not just with fans, but media as well.

But that won't do anything to JR. He likes to be able to tell people they were wrong and he was right. This LaRussa hire is just the latest. I guess Trump goes to Mar a Lago for Christmas every year and usually doesn't come back until around January 5th. There is a lot of speculation this time, he just doesn't come back at all.

Brooks is really a good guy. I had a couple emails to him many years ago, and he doesn't know me from Adam, but he replied, and they were replies that didn't seem like "I guess I have to respond to this". They were well thought out, answered by questions, and fired me up for the next Sox game. I feel bad for him if his inbox is getting pounded. He deserves better.

I am very afraid of this. I really don't know why republican is either so loyal or so afraid of him. It's amazing. And scary. Hopefully, it won't happen. It would really be a country back breaker if it happens in one state let alone enough to push Trump to stay. Perhaps the scariest thing is how easily Trump has controlled the republican party, and they all work for his needs now. Some day, someone a lot smarter than him, someone capable of at least faking empathy, but someone with his same motives is going to come around, and if so many fell for Trump, think what will happen.

If LaRussa was barely drunk, then at the very least, his statements make him the biggest tool in the shed. Being buzzed would make that point a little moot as if you are ever out with your friends and they are hammered and your sober as a judge, you realize drunk people say the strangest things. When you are equally as drunk, you don't notice. I would also like to know Tony's definition of being legit. He's a baseball HOFer, so he is legit. When Jim Anderson was fired yesterday as Acting Under Secretary for Policy, he was given a "clap-out" as he left the building. The WH called to request names of any political appointees who joined in so they could be fired.

I think the lack of concession is about money. His remaining time in office is something entirely different and probably much more dangerous. In the end, he will probably pardon himself. The PA secretary of state says they have about 10,000 of the late votes they were told to segregate, and haven't counted. Even if they all voted for Trump, Biden wins. In Philly, the dead people vote is fake news.

I definitely think he would like the SDNY off his back and would probably concede in a second if that were on the table. But there is no way that is on the table. He has a losing hand, and has nothing to bluff with. He's screwed. If he funds this Super pac saying they are for the frivolous lawsuits, he wins in a way. I really think that is what this is all about. I think even Trump knows he's screwed, and if he doesn't everyone around him, except for maybe Rudy does. I saw Michael Cohen yesterday, and keeping with the grain of salt theme..............but he said Trump has no income. His properties are doing poorly and he has debts coming due. This slush fund is needed pretty badly.

He is using this to fund his super PAC, slush fund, and just keep spinning to his cult followers that he is not a loser but a victim.

Whatever he drank, it was enough to damage his car, and it could have been a human being. If it was no big deal, why did they cover it up?

I get that, but at this point, getting off is a technicality. He still drove drunk. The best receiver for Iowa got suspended for last weeks game because 2 weeks ago, he was arrested for DUI. He hasn't had his day in court, yet the school suspended him. If there were no breathalyzer or blood test showing his alcohol level maybe you have a point. But getting off now is just privilege.

The tests are inaccurate? What a coincidence that would be. People phoning in saying this guy was all over the road, and they find him with his car damaged calling AAA. How unlucky could Tony be?
