  1. He was throwing 88 in the second inning. Lambert, Otahni...now maybe Rodon, recent TJ surgery guys are going down fast
  2. Finally, they did something that made sense.
  3. Telling the truth is pathetic. That is what this has become.
  4. Little embers. They will be putting them out quickly. Quicker than anyone would have ever believed. Believe me.
  5. He would probably be the best manager the Sox ever had right before his first game, and probably one of the biggest idiots ever to manage the Sox before the 5th inning.
  6. Delmonico is one of the most popular guys on the team, but his time is coming to an end.
  7. Abreu has been really good defensively so far this season.
  8. Pitcher has a tough time with lefties. Looks like Grandal is starting to come out of his funk. The weather has been reasonable in KC. Not a bad choice. EE isn’t going to get better watching. Delmonico, again this pitcher has a difficult time with LH batters, now RR is getting ripped for using them and not a guy like Engel. Unfortunately, Nicky is what he has. It would have been a great time for Mazara, as he also kills righties. But he must not be ready.
  9. He seems to me to be a combination of Mike Trout and Vlad Guerrero.
  10. Gio is not the answer. Hahn has some work to do.
  11. I know it’s fashionable to slam Abreu and praise Robert, and Robert has to bat really high in the order and Abreu needs to be moved down significantly. Has anyone actually looked at their numbers? Pretty similar.
  12. Herrera actually started out really well last season. Then he hurt his back, and he couldn't get American Legion players out.
  13. The only thing that will keep Madrigal from setting a sacrifice bunt record this year is the short schedule.
  14. It is amazing how he was able to get ready just as team control was increased a season. But good luck to Nick. Hopefully he will be as successful as some of his fans (me included) think.
  15. If I were a GM, I would give a much more generic answer, and probably wonder why I am being asked a question where everyone knows the answer.
  16. In 2014, in 594 PA Kris Bryant put up an 1,.100 OPS in the minors. He then led the 2015 Cubs in Spring Training HRs before he was sent down for more seasoning. Madrigal has 532 career plate appearances and didn't hit .200 in the spring. There is zero change he would ever win a grievance. But everyone knows why he is where he is. I just hate the lip service provided. There is nothing he is doing now that will make him more prepared than he was last week. Just say he is working on some things, hopefully we see him soon. Not the 'he's really close". Exactly what does he have to do in batting practice for a promotion?
  17. I fully understand the White Sox holding him out 5 games for the year of control, but why must Getz play the "he's close" game. If Kris Bryant didn't win a grievance, Nick Madrigal has no shot. It isn't like what he is doing in Schaumburg is going to make him more MLB ready. It's really to keep as much rust off as possible.
  18. Another 1.43 million jobless claims. Didn't Jared , as he was patting himself on the back, tell us we would really be humming by July?
  19. The craziest thing is the only reason he got tested was because he was going to be traveling with Trump. He would have been waltzing around DC with Covid and no mask.
  20. If it’s real, McCann isn’t going to settle for being a back up catcher.
  21. Why should EE be playing and Abreu not? Abreu had a big game last night and suddenly he has a 133 OPS +.
