  1. The new charge probably ends that. But I later linked an article from probably the #1 Constitution attorney and a prominent Minneapolis attorney that explained why the 3rd degree charge would have almost certainly been dismissed.
  2. I also get a kick out of his wife making sure everyone knows she's divorcing him and changing her name. That was to save herself. She knows what he is.
  3. The guy had 18 complaints against him. At what point does someone have to say, this guy has a problem, maybe having him out on the street with police powers isn't a good thing?
  4. So the rioting and protesting worked for something. 3 guys would have totally got away with it. The neck kneeler would have had a slap on the wrist, and that is only because it was recorded. They all would have gotten away with it if not.
  5. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/05/31/opinion/minnesota-prosecutors-charges-might-lead-an-unjustly-easy-sentence-george-floyds-killer/
  6. The other scary thing is the 3rd degree murder charge against the officer who had his knee on George's neck for 9 minutes, recorded, is set up to be dropped. If that happens, then what? Obviously, there needs to be big change. But does anyone really believe these protests will lead to it? We have been here before so often, then it's like the attention goes somewhere else. Hopefully we can continue protesting until something happens. if it stops next week, nothing is going to change.
  7. That is part of the problem. Police uniforms for many are getting closer to looking like military. Their vehicles are getting more military. They will start acting more military. Make them the peace officers they were supposed to be.
  8. I think Chicago requires at least 2 years of college.
  9. The rubber bullets may not kill you, although they have. They can really mess you up. Dale Murphy''s son got one right by his eye. That will leave a mark. All for peaceful protesting. There is also a picture of a young woman's leg with 4 or 5 wounds. It was the back of the leg indicating she was moving away, but rubber bullets anyway . That was at the precursor for the Trump photo op.
  10. So peaceful protesters are shot with rubber bullets and tear gassed for a photo op, and the people who are OK with that think governors are dictators for making them stay home during a pandemic. Crazy what has happened to America.
  11. Some crazy protesting going on in Chicago right now. Destroying police cars seems to be a thing. What has happened and what has been happening for years is unjust, but this is no way to protest it.
  12. I read in The Athletic, the new spring training will be held at each team’s home ballpark. And that there will be up to a 30 man roster and 20 man taxi squad. It will be interesting to see how teams use the taxi squad. Probably will include keepimg several top prospects they have no intention of playing around for at least some development. If you are willing to take on some cash, there are going to be a lot of opportunities to improve your team.
  13. While I agree some players, if not many, will opt out, I still hope they play. It is an asterisk year anyway. Get some development, and maybe you get lucky. Plus, it’s a lot better to watch than the current choices on TV. And if the NBA and NHL and even MLS make it back and baseball doesn’t because of money, the industry would have just shot itself again, and this time may be lethal. No matter what, owners are going to take a bath this year. One interesting thing will be next off seasons free agent market. I am pretty sure we will be back to spring training signings. This pandemic, even if there is a vaccine by next season is going to coast some really good players a lot of money.
  14. At least one person who was at that Lake in the Ozarks pool party last week has the virus. Look for quite a few more soon. Dumbasses.
  15. Take it for what it’s worth,Heyman got a text from a player who told him chances of a season are next to zero.
  16. Trump terminating US relationship with WHO. That is not good.
  17. Was there anyone as happy as me to watch Tom Brady suck at golf on Sunday? He did have a few nice shots. One great one. But for the most part, he looked like a guy who would have a tough time breaking 100. That and splitting his pants was pretty, pretty, pretty good.
  18. And when you retrospected the 1998 draft and took Buerhle in the 1st round instead of the 38th, you would have been pretty happy about it. Kip Wells was the Sox #1 pick last year. You could have taken all the guys the Sox selected before Buehrle and you wouldn't have traded Buehrle for them 3 years after the draft. Obviously, tools play, but pick the guy who is going to have the most success. I am not qualified to give my opinion, especially this draft. It is going to be really interesting.
  19. Apparently the cupboard being so bare, 3 years in office wasn’t enough time to fix it, is, shockingly, also a lie. https://www.stltoday.com/opinion/editorial/editorial-if-the-pandemic-preparedness-cupboard-was-bare-it-was-trumps-doing/article_bd1bb8d6-7477-590d-af72-ae4e305de601.html
  20. Would McCub be invited to the parade? Oh wait, parade cancelled. Rocky has no worries.
  21. I read where if everything goes right and somehow they have a vaccine by the end of the year, the front line health professionals will be the first vaccinated. It will take quite a while to get close to everyone vaccinated.
  22. Apparently the Trumpers next issue , and will certainly become Greg’s is contact tracing.
  23. You are exactly who Russian bots are targeting. I know facts don’t matter to you. Why should they, but here is fact checking your video.and just remember the last time Fauci was seen with Trump, he was wearing a mask . You are a danger to society. https://www.factcheck.org/2020/05/outdated-fauci-video-on-face-masks-shared-out-of-context/
  24. Trump demanded churches be open today. Surprised he passed on a chance to attend choosing to golf again instead.
