If the federal government handled this about as well as they could like Jerksticks seems to imply, why are not other countries having these spikes? Why are the states with the biggest outbreaks the ones that broke with the scientists and sided with Trump? Probably just a huge coincidence., and bad luck. Why are cases exploding in TX, AZ and Fl, three of the hottest states, when the warmer weather would make it just go away? Trump is holding rallies and parties, NOW, with no social distancing, and even though he claims 99% of the infections are harmless, to get anywhere near him, guess what, you need a negative test. More BS from perhaps the most documented liar who has ever lived.

Just because our government failed us is no reason to “let the coronavirus do its thing”. Why do other countries not have the issues we have? The White House made this political and failed us all. If one baseball player or one NBA player or one NFL pllayyeror one NHL player gets so sick he dies or cannot continue with his career, the just live with it people will change their tune.

I think gas stations get overlooked. There has to be as many germs hanging around there as anywhere. I definitely would not put gas in my car not wearing gloves. And would use hand sanitizer when I was done. Their employees make close to minimum wage. I would not want to trust they keep up with disinfecting. As screwed up as the process to get to this point was, as strange as this "season" will be, I'm pretty sure I have never looked forward to a baseball season as much as I do this one right now.

Trump administration is ending support to 13 Covid 19 testing sites across the country, 7 in Texas. Now the lackeys looking the other way is going to kill people. That this actually happens in America during a pandemic should stun everyone.

The expanded playoffs, which included 2020 and 2021, was a minimum 14 games a season. That could have been sold. A universal DH could have meant more money being spent on players. Plus, it could have helped the sports public perception and an agreement could have been used as a springboard for the new CBA. But I won’t blame the players. Their 70 games had no chance, but the owners could have done the right thing and shown some grace and gone to 64 or 65, and let both parties save a little face over this fiasco.
