  1. Greg, have you ever noticed the TV personalities, the politicians who are telling everyone to act like this never happened and go back to their previous lives, are not practicing what they are preaching? Fox News works from home, and will for at least another month. To be in the same room as Trump, you require a test, although he thinks testing is overrated for everyone else.
  2. While Fox News personalities tell their viewers to be patriots and go back to work, their studios will be closed and they will be working from home for the foreseeable future.
  3. Because, if it was the other way around the owners don’t pay the players more money. If the Sox were expected to win 65 games and they won 95 and increased attendance, and concessions sales, and ad revenue on TV and the radio, JR doesn’t say, let’s split this extra cash up. He needs to take the no fan loss. I am sure there will be some negotiation to play, but there is no way the players are going to take a huge hunk of it.
  4. The grocery stores and pick up restaurants by me now have signs that say you need a mask to enter. More people the last few days seem to be wearing masks, but there still are plenty who do not The people out for a run kind of scare me. I get running with a mask on would be kind of tough, but runners are breathing a bit harder than those walking, and running right by them seems like something could pop out of their mouth a bit easier with their heavier breathing.
  5. Pence was going to step back for a couple of days with his press secretary having the virus, but I guess that would be a sign of weakness so he will be at the WH tomorrow.
  6. The hypocrisy shown by the White House with their own Covid 19 outbreak should piss off even the most hardened we have to open now people. The new press secretary said it would be OK because they amped up testing (instead of being once a week, it is now every day)and contact tracing, something that they apparently deemed not necessary for the general public, If testing means nothing, why does Trump insist everyone around him need to be tested? Also, there were 70 new cases in WI where the victims said they attended a large social event. Speculation was it was the stay at home protest. Idiots.
  7. Willis was still arb eligible. They could have just non tendered him. I don’t even think the Sox came in second place. The Angels were all over him as well. They just didn’t like the Sox package as much as the others.
  8. Apparently, at least some reality is starting to set in at the WH. The V shaped recovery looks to be scrapped. The Jared "we will be rocking in July" I guess didn't happen. Everything coming back much sooner than anyone would believe, by the wayside. Now they are saying next year, of course after the election, it's going to be great. Everyone will have their job back.
  9. First Trump declares victory over Covid 19. He shut it down. Then, he decides he is a wartime President and declares war. Now, he has surrendered. Time for the re-election campaign.
  10. Yes, but their re opening is all about Trump. For some reason, they think they need him to survive. He's a great salesman. Most of these people are right to lifers, yet people should risk death to go to a minimum wage job because it makes it more convenient for the better off. They have actually made this a political issue. Getting sick and dying is now political. While they sit away from everybody, getting tested every few days....it is really sickening.
  11. Yes, maybe he is selfish and greedy, but I have left places for more money. You can't blame anyone for taking the cash. Most people would. The reality is if you paid him $300 million or $330 million, it isn't going to make much difference in his life. It's all money he will never spend, but it is nice to have just in case, and most people if they are able, like to leave things to their heirs.
  12. It is assumed that the White Sox fan base is pretty blue collar, but I read somewhere the reality is that it isn't. The average White Sox fan makes more money than the average Cubs fan.
  13. If there was no election this year, does anyone think states would actually be re-opening now?
  14. First off, if this is no big deal, why is Tucker working from home? Seems hypocritical which I suppose is par for the course.Watch this.
  15. I was really sick the beginning of February, and my symptoms were very similar to Covid 19, but it did seem early. My wife was convinced I had it. There is a doctor by me and he gave me the Covid 19 test where they stick the swab up both your nostrils I think until they reach brain, and the antibodies test. I just found out I was negative on both. I was kind of hoping to have the antibodies, but if I had it when I thought I had it , I probably would have taken quite a few people down with me, and some would have been worse, so it's better this way.
  16. On line. Groupon. If you can't find them, you aren't looking very hard. Greg I used to think a lot more highly of you. But you aren't willing to put in any effort to protect the people who happen to be around you. it's too much of a hassle. You really should be ashamed of yourself.
  17. What not wearing a mask does is show you really don't care about anyone else around you. It's plain and simple. I hate wearing a mask, but I wear one. By now, everyone should know they may have the virus without showing signs. Act like you would want people who have it to act around your loved ones. These non surgical masks don't help me much, they help the people around me.
  18. Begins? Trump has officially washed his hands of the coronavirus. And he has his cronies doing the same thing. Why are they so afraid of him?
  19. Boy has the "Republican" tune changed. Since Trump took over, over $5 trillion has been added to the national debt.
  20. My wife is a Labor/Employment lawyer. She insists they are not going to be able to eliminate employer liability. Whatever they come up with will be challenged and the government will lose. Says Congressional lawyers know very little about labor law.
  21. It’s a song they play at his rallies. The guy is so fragile, they have to make everything seem like a rally and he is surrounded by cult members.
  22. Rumors out there the Coronavirus Task Force is being disbanded.
  23. IDK, Dr. Trump said one day it would magically dissappear, maybe that date is May 15th.
  24. The dumbest thing about this is it seems Trumps ridiculous thought about mainlining Lysol is going to cost tens of thousands of lives. It ended the task force press "briefings". I guess no one but Trump could run those. And the guidelines got dumped like they never existed as well.
  25. Unfortunately the 2020 baseball season will probably be a victim of the states caving to knuckleheads, and opening up early.
