Harry Chappas

Fuck this team and fuck Engel

Where'd it get him? Looked bad here.

At some point the Sox need to drill someone

Pitch around AV to get to NoNo

Why hit him 4th?

Nice efficient inning there. If not for Engels massive blunder and asswipe offense this would not be so excruciatingly painful to watch.

Again

Embarassing

Hendricks may no hit them tomorrow

My lord this is pathetic

This is painful to watch.

Umpire was in a hurry to check for illegal substances.

At some point Anderson needs to be moved. 16 straight games with 0 first inning runs.

Here comes the 3 hop grounder to kick of B1. Haven't scored in the first in 2 weeks.

This team sucks

Falling apart quickly here.

You throw Robert in CF and that offense is insane

It just has another outlet. People can now interact on a personal level and I am not certain that is a good thing. Reggie Jackson had to wear a helmet in the outfield during a game as he was pelted with batteries. Today it becomes a crisis when a player has a ball thrown at him the game stops and person is banned for life, which he should.

Is a Zach/KD Chicago pairing possible at some point?

Great point.....apples and oranges but great point

He is because he was out for 3 months and is getting acclimated to MLB pitching.

It was a musing nothing more. The Rizzo v Jed stuff got me wondering if it put off that core that is all. Not sure there is an answer or debate to be had,

Before last night the offense has sucked for a good amount of the past month. This is an offensive based lineup that does not have Garcia it so I am happy. I am surprised there is no Garcia. Engel not playing back to back games seems to just be a cautionary plan. We may not see Robert play back to back until later September.

I wonder how the service time game with Bryant played into this. All these guys had to do is look across town and see why some may have been more willing to sign a home town discount.

The generated wealth of these franchises is tied to the debt associated with purchasing them. While Rickets and Cohen have greater wealth then Reinsdorf, I think teh SOx and Bulls generated more wealth for JR then the other two at this point in time. I am guessing on the Rickets Balance Sheet the cubs and surrounding projects in that area are a major drag. The investment into buying the team, rehabbing the stadium and surrounding area is not covered by the operations of the team and entertainment entities. JR shouldn't have an issue in the world when it comes to his team's fiscal status and he's sitting $4B in invested assets with the Bulls and Sox free and clear of any debt.
