4-5 GT: CWS @ SEA (9:10 PM CT)
He should have gotten the leaf off single in the 9th yesterday if hes a gold glove major league 2B. Starting to wonder about the scouting there. 3000 hits may not get 300.

Pathetic effort all series. The Abreu AB in 9th v Angels tells the story. Make the pitcher throw strikes.

White Sox are still a World Series Contender
Hahn may be the worst executive ever but he is far from a bad negotiator. He was burned with prolonging the process into the spring in the past. Joc may have gotten the Sox and cubs into a bidding war and made more money. Seems like Joc and his agent are the one's that was burned but that doesn't fit the White Sox are cheap Hahn sucks narrative of the self loathing sector of Soxtalk. This thread is the culmination of a long and for some reason dreary Soxtalk offseason that saw Soxtalk clamoring for them to spend money then piss and moan about the money that was spent previously. Trade for veterans and take on money then tell everyone that Dane Dunning is the next Shane Bieber. I am still waiting for Tim Anderson to demand a trade because the manager is a right wing lunatic. The veteran catcher that had a great spring was released to open two opportunities for young players, the years of service game was once again not a part of the White Sox business model but yet here we are again pissing and moaning in the thread that was created to talk about the potential of the White Sox. I really think this site is more trolls than fans or maybe White Sox fans really just do hate the White Sox.

Cubs 2021
I was moved to AT&TV from Uverse and believe I pay under $10 For CSN and Marquee. I couldn't pick just one. I am thinking CSN is a larger amount then Marquee. I wish CSN filled their day with some sort of programming there is so much crap on there while they still have 3 major teams on the channel.

White Sox were expected to sign Juan Soto
if they have Tatis and Soto in the pipeline they probably dont pay for Robert.

Backup Catcher (update 3/29 - Lucroy won't make team, asked for release)
Because it is the most important defensive position on the field especially with all of metrics that are now available. To keep two back ups neither of which are strong defensive catchers makes no sense to me. Especially when neither has proven they can hit major league pitching so we may have two guys that can neither hi9t or catch. I was all for Collins getting a shot but keeping three and having two that are questions marks seems like a bad idea, especially when you consider if Grandel goes down the defense there goes down the drain.

Sox Sign Jake Lamb
Lamb is the depth everyone was pining for all offseason.

Backup Catcher (update 3/29 - Lucroy won't make team, asked for release)
Are the White Sox panicking here? They will have two back up catchers neither of whom is even average at catching and both of whom are making the team to be a platoon at DH. A back up catcher should be a defensive stalwart. The White Sox are using the spot as a rotating DH.......

Backup Catcher (update 3/29 - Lucroy won't make team, asked for release)
His play this spring indicated he was healthy for the first time in a number of years.
-
Sox Sign Jake Lamb
Maybe Yermin doesn't make the team after all.

The Andrew Vaughn LF Thread
Vaughan has been playing baseball for most of his life so he will be comfortable out there. LF is not that hard to play. All he needs to do is catch fly balls. He does not need to be Alex Gordon out there. Eloy had some speed but he was a butcher out there and then acted like a clown which finally cost him a season. I think there is no way he can play the field ever again. He is incredibly injury prone and literally cannot get out of his own way. Vaughan will be comparable to Schwarber out there which is fine and may be better for the White Sox in the long run.

Backup Catcher (update 3/29 - Lucroy won't make team, asked for release)
Maybe he is hurt again.

White Sox were expected to sign Juan Soto
I wonder if the Cardinals board pisses, moans and complains that the cheap ass White Sox outbid them for Robert and Abreu.
