  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 07:22 PM) Looks like either a back, hip, or groin injury with Gavin. His hip most likely
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 07:13 PM) Not a very lively park tonight, which really benefits Lilly. and Floyd
  3. Win tonight they are 6.5 out..........they are getting me again...which is a good thing
  4. That was the third day in a row that Jenks had pitched. Floyd pitched as good as the other four. You take out the Thorton game and they could have won 5 in a row with three of them coming by scoring 3 runs or less.
  5. Sox have a better record than the cubs and look manageable to watch.
  6. Peavy looking good. The offense of this team while not showing up in the numbers is becoming markedly better than last year to the naked eye. I guess Rios like Quentin 2 years ago can do this. I am leaving work to fight the Chicago traffic....godspeed Sox fans.
  7. See this is wher Konerko should bunt...I know he won't and he could as easily hit a three run shot but I just want to make sure we get one of these in. Just do not try a double steal here...or hit into a DP
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 02:58 PM) I've never seen a change go sideways. Maybe it is a slurve. Freddy is getting pitches to do some odd things. Maddux used to get this as well.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 02:54 PM) What is that 78 mph pitch? It moves like a slider, but it is 10 mph slower. Change up or sluve I would assume?
  10. and Wells is settled in. All he is going to do is throw sliders off of the corner and watch the Sox swing from their heels and flail away.
  11. and 2010 Jake Peavy is back in the building, that did not take long
  12. Soriano likes the ball down and Peavy is trying to keep it down.......
  13. QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 02:05 PM) Thanks. Interesting decision on his part. Did they say if any Sox were out with them? Nope the fact that Wells was starting made it an issue.
  14. QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 01:59 PM) He was out with them last night until 3AM? Did someone have pics of this or something? They were talking about it on the SCORE this morning.
  15. The Riot has fewer walks than Ramirez in 35 more AB's or peavy is on pace to throw 99 pitches in 9 innings..... Looks like a good innign on-line
  16. Peavy on his way to a 100 pitch 5 inning performance and Beckham not helping out at all.
  17. If Wells gets hit hard...we are know he can pitch like s*** and still retire the next 15 hitters....I wonder what the response will be as he was seen out at 3 AM with the Hawks last night.
  18. Is that twice in three days that Konekro went first to third on a single....I am watching online game tracker so I could not actually see it.....oh 3-2 2 outs runner going.
  19. lay off the slider and it will be a long day for Wells
  20. The Koyie Hill stuff was interesting. If they were delaying the game without telling the teams at least an hour prior to the game that is BS as the starters shold have been notified. I work 5 minutes from Wrigley and it is overcast but that just rolled in. It is going to rain soon though. I like the Hawk/Cup idea but they should not have delayed the game
  21. I'd rather see Quentin in there than Jones but this lineup matches up better without a DH and is good defensively. Didn't Omar account for 67% ofthe Sox runs yesterday......
  22. The last two games were awesome. The way it ended kind of sucked though as nobody knew it was a goal. Leighton sucks. The JR moment kind of made it all seem real to me as a 20 plus year fan I thought that was very cool Sharp or Ante should have won the MVP Awesome party time on the southside tonight.
