  1. after the balk, Kotsay should have come in to hit ramirez timing was f***ed up all night.
  2. No way Jones should be batting here.
  3. Sad that Gavin puts in two great efforts with no offense at all.
  4. Nice Lou oughta go to Marmol now.
  5. I was watching this game at friends house and just got home and all I have to say is that the approach that this team is taking, they deserve to be no hit. Jason Nix is terrrible. He is on this team to hit this type of pitcher. Quentin and Beckham are not far behind. All they need to do sit back and take him to RF not overswing on the 87 MPH high fastball and pop up either 50 feet or 280 feet.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 07:22 PM) Looks like either a back, hip, or groin injury with Gavin. His hip most likely
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 07:13 PM) Not a very lively park tonight, which really benefits Lilly. and Floyd
  8. Win tonight they are 6.5 out..........they are getting me again...which is a good thing
  9. That was the third day in a row that Jenks had pitched. Floyd pitched as good as the other four. You take out the Thorton game and they could have won 5 in a row with three of them coming by scoring 3 runs or less.
  10. I get feeling Kotsay will be right for the LHH
  11. Sox have a better record than the cubs and look manageable to watch.
  12. Peavy looking good. The offense of this team while not showing up in the numbers is becoming markedly better than last year to the naked eye. I guess Rios like Quentin 2 years ago can do this. I am leaving work to fight the Chicago traffic....godspeed Sox fans.
  13. See this is wher Konerko should bunt...I know he won't and he could as easily hit a three run shot but I just want to make sure we get one of these in. Just do not try a double steal here...or hit into a DP
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 02:58 PM) I've never seen a change go sideways. Maybe it is a slurve. Freddy is getting pitches to do some odd things. Maddux used to get this as well.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 02:54 PM) What is that 78 mph pitch? It moves like a slider, but it is 10 mph slower. Change up or sluve I would assume?
  16. and Wells is settled in. All he is going to do is throw sliders off of the corner and watch the Sox swing from their heels and flail away.
  17. and 2010 Jake Peavy is back in the building, that did not take long
  18. Soriano likes the ball down and Peavy is trying to keep it down.......
  19. QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 02:05 PM) Thanks. Interesting decision on his part. Did they say if any Sox were out with them? Nope the fact that Wells was starting made it an issue.
  20. QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 01:59 PM) He was out with them last night until 3AM? Did someone have pics of this or something? They were talking about it on the SCORE this morning.
  21. The Riot has fewer walks than Ramirez in 35 more AB's or peavy is on pace to throw 99 pitches in 9 innings..... Looks like a good innign on-line
  22. Peavy on his way to a 100 pitch 5 inning performance and Beckham not helping out at all.
  23. If Wells gets hit hard...we are know he can pitch like s*** and still retire the next 15 hitters....I wonder what the response will be as he was seen out at 3 AM with the Hawks last night.
